  • "I have never seen windows of such high quality. The nstallers almost installed 21 windows in 1 day. If it had not poured down raining, they would have been able to complete the installation in one day. The installers were on time both days, and they cleaned up after themselves. They were polite and professional. It was a great experience. I highly recommend this company. The project manager came out to check the installation, and to see if we were satisfied and had any questions."

  • "Full siding, trim, gutters. $48,00 job. Company says 2-3 days for full complete. Home owner vacation planned for Saturday. Work supposed to begin Monday, weather delays so work now starts Tuesday, three or four person crew. They take down siding on two sides of the house and lay 3 or 4 panels of siding. Wednesday. One person crew. Minimal work done, because one person. Thursday three or four person crew, one short side of house and 3/4 of the back sided. A/C damaged, wires nicked for compressor. Crew did not say a word to us that they may have damaged it. The company had to pay for repair. Friday .. rain delay. Vacation delayed. Crew supposed to be out Saturday. No show. Cannot contact anyone on crew. Fourth of July holiday so home owner vacation delayed indefinitely. Still cannot contact crew, no answers. Company says can we wait until vacation. Thousands of dollars worth of materials in driveway, ladders, debris all over yard. No we can't. Definitely understand weather delays but a 2-3 job running into week two is unsatisfactory. Edited: Crew promised to be out Monday after 4th of July. No-one showed. We get a hold of customer care, no-one felt like working that day. Turns out foreman of job went out of town without telling anyone. We are again promised a full crew plus 3 or 4 people extra to get the job done fully on Tuesday. Same crew arrives. There were three extra bodies but they were gutter people, not siding installers. They pulled the siding off the front of the house then went home. Crew worked all day, still not done, they worked until almost dark. Wednesday they do finish the job but as I am walking into the garage after they have cleaned up, I notice a window pane broken in the door, with no broken glass anywhere.. Can prove it was whole that morning due to security camera. No-one says a word until I found it. You know you did it, you cleaned up the glass. One of the PM's says they will fix it early next week. Gutter crew comes and knocks the job out in a couple of hours. On walkaround, notice a few things wrong -- we are promised to be out early the next week to fix them and the glass they broke -- oh and by the way, our ONLY compensation was a $500 check. We have received that, but the window is still broken and the items left undone are still undone -- three weeks later. Overpriced, terrible communication, terrible customer service. The crew DID do good work."

  • "Aggravating to say the least. This company knew my wife would not be home when I set the appointment. We are both government employees and work rotating schedules which make it difficult for us to be at home at the same time. I’m certain that all military families and government employees in the area can appreciate this situation. First, the person showed up late. He was sloppy to say the least but not only in his appearance but his presentation. He claimed he was not a sales person and he only worked in marketing. But he assured me that they want our business and will do what they can to make us happy. As I was looking through the door catalog, he decided that he did not want to move further in quoting me a price without my wife being here. This was a total waste of time for me as I’m sure any working husband and father would understand. When you make an appointment with a company and they already know ahead of time the spouse won’t be there they should just not take the appointment to begin with. I’m thankful that he cowered out of the home the way he did and that we did not do business with them. If they can’t do something simple like a quality in-home presentation I can’t imagine how bad the quality of work would be."

  • "Worst company ever. They go to neighborhoods that are for “richer” people nobody else can afford their ridiculous prices. They have people knocking on my door at 8pm!!! This should be illegal, they explicitly ignored my no soliciting sign so I called the cops. EVERYTIME they come to my door I’m calling the cops for harassment. HCR also has open law suits against them. Do not trust this company with your money unless you wanna go broke. Bunch of scammers who read a script at your door and try to force a sales appointment on you."

  • "I never had the "pleasure" of using this company, but after my experience today I will definitely take my business elsewhere. This evening I had the experience of being cut off on the highway by an HCR truck during inclement weather and traffic. Apparently this employee thought his time was more valuable then everyone on the highway. If this is the professionalism and behavior of HCR employees, I would look elsewhere for your repair needs."

  • "7:30 pm at night in January when it is pitch black at this time, a man comes walking up to our door without identification or a vehicle to identify (despite no soliciting signs) to try to sell us on getting an estimate from this company. This is totally unprofessional. Not only to come up when it is clearly stated not to solicit, but to do so at that time. Even if I was thinking about getting work done and looked past ignoring the no soliciting sign, the time of day that you all send your representatives out or approve of them being out is absurd. This wasn't eve the representatives fault, this reflects the companies values and beliefs."

  • "Shady company that is price gouging unsuspecting homeowners. I recorded their VP offering their model home con. They want $900 a square for timberline HD’Z shingles when most companies offer them for around $375-$400 a square. Same roofing system. Also the Golden pledge warranty costs all of $150 through GAF. That’s a 25 yr bumper to bumper warranty. HCRs standard size energy efficient custom fit windows Cost them less than $300 to buy from the manufacturer. Then they want to sell them for over $1000 per (if they are still selling Slocumb windows) Guess what ? Their installers are not factory trained. At least not down here. The crews just change t shirts (if they remember to) Don’t worry. I’ll be posting more reviews exposing their con. It’s a shame they are dishonest about it. Just tell people you want over charge them so Adam and the fellas can buy their boats and Tesla’s"

  • "I had 12 questions you should ask a roofer before getting work done. The sales agent responded professionally and honestly. The work was done in one day. They left the yard and the flower garden cleaner than it was when they came. I definitely recommend them to anyone. I had to check the work the next day because they finished after dark.I am a very satisfied customer."
