Chief Customer Experience Officer

Jim Durkin is responsible for the end-to-end customer experience. In this role, Jim brings together digital marketing, brand development, contractor and distribution training, partner programs, and marketing services to deliver a consistent, connected, and seamless customer experience. Jim joined GAF in 2000 as a Regional Sales Manager, and held a variety of regional and national leadership positions at the company for both residential and commercial roofing sales prior to his current position.

During his tenure leading National Accounts, Jim led the development of GAF’s successful retail sales strategy, including the addition of Lowe's in 2015. In addition, he has been instrumental in growing GAF’s relationship with The Home Depot, leading to GAF being named their Partner of the Year in 2018. Prior to joining GAF, Jim spent eight years in various sales roles at GenFlex Roofing Systems, an Indiana-based supplier of commercial roofing products.

Jim holds a BS from Northern Illinois University and an MBA from St. Xavier University.
