GAF Rooftop Equipment Mount 240 helps provide a secure connection directly to the roof deck or structural decks, redirecting the wind load off of the membrane and onto the structural deck. When properly installed, it can help to reduce rack or equipment movement and prevent water infiltration. GAF Rooftop Equipment Mount is 240 designed for uplift and shear retention on a commercial roof.

Step 1
Align the GAF Rooftop Equipment Mount 240 according to the engineered design. Most designs are transferred to the roof surface with chalk lines. Guide notches can be used to align with the solar array layout to ensure an easier and accurate installation. Avoid using permanent chalk. -
Step 2
Install the GAF Rooftop Equipment Mount 240 using the correct type and quantity of fasteners specified by your design professional. -
Step 3
Clean the roof surface with EverGuard® Seam Cleaner. -
Step 4
Hot-air-weld the perimeter edge of the cover membrane using a 2-inch roller to achieve a minimum 2-inch weld around the perimeter. Probe the seam to make sure the membrane is welded properly.
