About Cobra® Hip Vent Exhaust Vent for Hip Roofs
Cobra® Hip Vent provides effective ventilation on hip roofs with little or no ridge area. It provides 9 sq. inches per linear foot (19,051 mm2/lm) of net free ventilating area to help exhaust heat and moisture from the attic.
- Versatile Installation: Designed for use on 3-tab strip, laminate, and designer asphalt shingle roofs
- Dual Weather Fighter® Filter: Helps resist weather, insect, and pine needle infiltration
- Cap Shingle Compatible: Works with 12” (305 mm) width ridge cap shingles
- Fits Great: Extra-flexible hinge hugs the roof tightly and allows installation on 3:12 to 12:12 hip roof slopes
NOTE: Always have a balanced ventilation system. In no case should the amount of exhaust ventilation at the ridge exceed the amount of soffit ventilation.
