Merging the roofing industry with the solar industry is one of our top goals at GAF Energy. GAF is expanding residential roofing production operations by building a new state-of-the-art shingle manufacturing facility in Newton, Kansas. The project began with a groundbreaking ceremony on June 5, 2025. Production at the new GAF manufacturing facility will start in 2027, with the plant reaching full capacity by mid-2029. The new GAF plant will add capacity to help meet the growing demand for market-leading residential roofing products and provide the resources needed to fuel further innovation.
