About Drill-Tec™ 2 1/4" IR Plastic Plate
Drill-Tec™ 2 1/4" IR Plastic Plate is a round heavy-duty reinforced polymer plate with barbs, utilized for in-seam TPO membrane and cover board preliminary securement, providing enhanced impact resistance.
Application
In-seam attachment of 60 – 80 mil EverGuard® TPO with Drill-Tec™ XHD (#15) Fasteners, Drill-Tec™ Purlin Fasteners, or Drill-Tec™ Hex Head Purlin Fasteners.
Preliminary securement of board stock with Drill-Tec™ #12 Fasteners, Drill-Tec™ #12 DF Fasteners, Drill-Tec™ #12 DP Fasteners, Drill-Tec™ #14 Fasteners, Drill-Tec™ #14 HD Fasteners, or Drill-Tec™ #14 DF Fasteners.

Additional Info
For best results, use a variable speed screw gun with a maximum of 2500 RPM. Higher RPM screw guns and impact drivers should not be used. To avoid overdriving and stripping the deck, ease off the trigger when tightening.
