  • "Met with Henry and his team almost 10 years ago and they did a kitchen and bath remodeling for me, job was done very quickly, everyday the workers showed on time and the crew was very pleasant to deal with. Fast forward, recently I was trying to sell our inherited home but after we put it on the market the feedback about the amount of work the house needed was not so positive, out of almost desperation to find someone, of course I thought of Henry. I made a call to the office on a Wednesday and got an appointment on Thursday, he came out and gave me very genuine and good advice on what should be done. On Friday we got the quote which stayed in the budget we provided, Saturday he sent his crew out. By the following Thursday all the work had been completed included changing 7 interior doors, 2 closet doors, 4 door jams, new flooring for 4 rooms and hot water replacement and main sewer line repair. By Friday we were back on the market. Another week later today, we got multiple offers, all thanks to Henry's understanding of what I needed and willing to lend me a hand which took so much pressure of me. 2nd time around, I was also glad to see the ppl that worked on my house almost 10 years ago are still with Henry. Which also tells me he is not only a great person to work with, he must be also a great person to work for. Henry is knowledgeable about the work, he is passionate about what he does, he genuinely cares about his clients. I know this review is long and draggy, but Henry deserves a thank you from the bottom of my heart, if I ever have work again, Henry's team will for sure be my go to guys. I feel the price is very fair for the scope of work. In today's day and age when many contractors simply can't even show up to appointments or complete the work at all, if you need work done at least you have real companies like surefix to count on!"

  • "Upon much deliberation and research prior to doing a kitchen remodel, I had interviewed 4 contractors prior to meeting with Henry of Sure Fix. This company, in my opinion, checks off all the boxes. The work they do is top notch, the price is reasonable, and the workers are polite and respectful. This is a professionally run business and it shows throughout the organization. Every person I interacted with treated me with respect. I will be sure to utilize Henry and his workers for all future projects. I currently have a patio project in process and they have been nothing short of fantastic to work with. 5 stars earned are 5 stars well deserved! Thank you Henry, and staff (workers on location as well as office personnel) for providing a rich customer experience 👍 ****7/22/23 ***** update on Paver patio and vinyl privacy fence installation ******* Hired Surefix remodeling for a paver patio and vinyl fence installation. The results are even better than what I had hoped. I cannot say enough about how much I appreciate this company's professionalism and dedication to client satisfaction! Every single worker has been wonderful to work with throughout all of my home improvement projects. I will continue to look to Henry and Tony for all future projects, which will include a bathroom remodel within the next few years. 5 stars and then some!!!! ✨️ 💫💫"

  • "We signed a contract with Sure Fix on April 5th for painting, carpentry, tile work, plumbing and electric work totaling over $25,000 to remodel the house we had just moved into. Sure Fix's performance was decidedly mixed, and we would not hire them again. 1) 5-6 WEEKS LONGER THAN ESTIMATED Before selecting Sure Fix, Henry the owner told us the project would take TWO TO THREE weeks. In reality, they took EIGHT WEEKS, or 3-4 times longer than the estimate. 2) LATENESS NOT DUE TO ADDITIONAL WORK We added and subtracted work items after the work began, and the net cost of additional work only totaled about 20% more than the original price--a workload justifying only a few days of extra labor, and not a 5-6 week overrun. 3) ON MANY DAYS, DID NO WORK ON OUR PROJECT There were many days when only 1 or 2 workmen worked for a just few hours, and at least 10 entire days when no workmen came at all. This was a matter of health for me, as I have asthma and was adversely affected by the dust that the prolonged work period exposed me to. 4) THEY JUGGLE MANY JOBS AT THE SAME TIME Tony, the project manager, justified his periodic abandonment of our project by writing: "We have several jobs going on and we have to be fair to everyone." We felt, however, that being fair to us would mean completing our project, without gaps of inactivity, in 2-3 weeks as promised--but that did not happen. Instead, Tony wrote on a day when no work happened: "I have other jobs to do." 5) MADE MAJOR MISTAKES COSTING US TIME AND/OR MONEY Among other mistakes, a whole week was lost when Sure Fix erred by ordering a custom countertop made of the wrong material. In the end, Henry charged us an extra $1,500 for the substitute higher-grade material we ultimately selected, but we would have been happy with our previous choice for $1,500 less. 6) STOPPED COMMUNICATING AFTER LAST PAYMENT, LEAVING WORK UNDONE After we made final payment, we could see that final touch-ups had been done with the wrong paint, and those touch-ups now required touching-up themselves. I texted Tony several times and left a voice mail for Henry to schedule the fixes still due, but neither of them bothered to answer me. SUMMARY Their workmen were friendly and the work was generally good. But on balance, we would certainly not hire Sure Fix again. Photos of some of the work that Sure Fix left uncorrected are attached. UPDATE: To dispel any distractions in the owner's response below, note first that he does not deny any of the the facts in this review. When the owner says below that "the customer was happy," he could not be farther from the truth. We were not happy that we could not have a son's college graduation party on Memorial Day--an important deadline that Henry explicitly promised us he would surely meet. Sure Fix failed to meet it. We were not happy to breathe dust, live out of boxes, and suffer lack of privacy for 5-6 weeks longer than promised. And we were not happy when we were promised that final touch-ups would be done, but the touch-ups were never or poorly done. The owner suggests below that the undone touch-ups were little "nicks" that popped up after project completion. In fact, BEFORE final payment, I texted project manager Tony--with photos--about the need to fix the eyesores in these photos. After final payment, though, instead of finishing the blue cabinet in the photo, they just dropped off the paint kit for us to do the job ourselves (!). And the crudely-finished countertop corner and 2-toned column in these photos did not pop up later, but were created and left by Sure Fix workers themselves after their own poor touch-ups. The owner says that Sure Fix was "more than accommodating" and "went above and beyond" for us. In response, a potential customer might well wonder, "If this is their 'above and beyond' performance, what kind of service would I receive?""
