    "I contacted St. Rapheal Roofing at the beginning of September mainly to remove tarp that was remaining on a home I own in the Fort Myers area. I also had them do an estimate for a new roof. Steve came out relatively quickly and although he said that I would have the estimate right away, I had to call a few days later because I had heard nothing. He never removed the tarp and explained he was going to send estimates and contracts for me to sign to get this work done. This was on 9/7/23...I signed the contract for tarp removal that day and he promised the work would be done no later than the following Monday (9/11/23). I explained to Steve that I lived out of town and was having this work done because some of the neighbors complained that the shredded tarp was coming off in wind storms. September 11th came and went and no one ever showed up nor did I receive any calls to say they were unable to get the job completed. We went back and forth for a couple weeks. I heard every excuse in the book. Steve stopped responding so I spoke to someone in the office who was very apologetic and said that I would have an appointment date scheduled that day. I did get the appointment date and it was for 10/13/23. No surprise...that day came and went and no one ever showed up. After a phone call on the following Monday, they finally completed the work on 10/16/23. Here's my advice to anyone reading this and considering St. Rapheal...if you're not in a rush, they may be the company for you as I've heard they do good work. However, after reading their reviews, its clear that my situation wasn't an isolated incident. I get it that they are probably swamped with work but a good company wouldn't take on jobs and make promises to customers that they know they are not going to be able to keep. It's dishonest and unprofessional and frustrating to the customer. Better communication or should I say communication in general would also be a huge step in the right direction so that customers have a clue that they weren't just forgotten about."

The house looks great and the service was even better. Very impressed by the whole team, really!     "We executed a contract with Saint Raphael Roofing to repair the damage done by hurricane Ian to our roof, roof tiles, and gutters. All had to be replaced. It was very easy working with Fernando Lugones, who helped me through the contract phase and kept me abreast of progress throughout the entire project, extended several months by the shortage of tile. We found the roofing crew, tile crew, and gutter crew very professional in their work and the the result of their efforts. I have never seen a group of workers maintain such a clean work site. The result has been a project that we are very happy with and would recommend Saint Raphael Roofing to anyone needing this type of work done."
