Ruff Roofers, established in 1939, has achieved a solid reputation as a skilled and experienced Maryland residential and commercial roofing contractor. We do every type of roofing both steep (shingle, slate, metal, cedar shake) and low slope (single ply and built-up).     "They were able to come out within just a day or two after we called requesting assistance. It was for a religious facility and they treated the building with dignity. From the estimator to the crew, they were professional and and responsive. Even when we had to request they come back for a different area that wasn't identified the first time, they responded quickly and sent out a crew. Great work!"

    "I recommend Ruff Roofers without any hesitation. They came on time, worked for a couple of days just as they thought the project would take. Told me to let them know how it was since we were due another storm We had a bad rainstorm and there was still a small leak. I emailed them late that night and had a response when I woke up. They came the next day and found the remaining leak area. No questions, no delays. They are more expensive than other roofers . That said, if we had gone with any of the less costly roofers, they would have charged for the additional work because it wasn’t on the list of work items. Ruff saw it as part of their scope of work. Other roofers might not have come back for weeks if they had other work. Both my husband and I are glad we contracted with Ruff. And the best- no mess, all cleaned when they left."
