"Jeff managed the entire process from the first consultation to the follow up after installation. Platinum Roofing completed the job with very little disruption to our family. The crew was professional and courteous. They worked safely and kept our property clean. I am very happy with Platinum Roofing and would recommend to family and friends. Follow up to my experience with Jeff. Our roof leaked after the first heavy rainstorm. The rain came through the drywall in our ceiling and into our living room while we were watching television. Our air conditioners are located over the leaking ceiling. Jeff came by and “promised” to help us discover the leak. He eventually came back and installed a cricket at the area where he believed the leak was coming from. Because of my health, I could not go on the roof to check. So Jeff took pictures. All was fine until it rained again. And guess what? Water flowed from the ceiling into the family room. Jeff was at a loss and blamed the air conditioners. It was funny that we had no roof leaks under the air conditioners before he lifted and reset both of them. But he insisted the air conditioners were the issue and he takes no responsibility for repairs to our damaged drywall. We had a very well-known company inspect the ac units. There were no leaks detected. We got two roofing estimates to assess the repairs. Both said the problem was the roofing around the ac units. We hired one to fix the roof leak and a painting company to repair the ceiling in the family room. Jeff is a nice guy and came recommended by a close friend. However, he offers a workmanship warranty but doesn’t back it up with action to customers satisfaction. We gave him every opportunity to fix the roofing issue. For this reason, I will never recommend his company to install a new roof. Still considering small claims court."
