• "They don't know how to communicate. They take their sweet time. I would hate to think how they would work with someone on a job."

    - R, Jun 27, 2021

  • "For our complete tear-off and new roof installation in August 2020, we chose Kerrigan after reading all of these glowing 5-star reviews, and because of the communication efforts of our salesperson, Spencer (who is no longer with the company), but after our experience, I cannot recommend this company. We own a cape cod with dormers that needed to have three layers of roofing removed. For a professional roofing company, this should not be an unusual house style or scenario. When the crew was done, we were excited to go out and see the finished result. However, we were appalled at how they left our home. Pieces of siding were left disconnected and sticking out. The flashing around the dormers and J-channels on the entire house were mangled (we later found a long piece of j-channel in one of our flower beds. No idea where it goes.) They left unsightly, rusted metal flashing showing under our dormer windows with visible plastic round cap roofing nails. The peaks of the dormers were left with huge gaps, so much so that insulation was visible. Parts of the vinyl piece bridging the gap between the siding and roof looked like they were bent and crinkled when put back in place. Also, upon walking around our house, we noticed innumerable black markings and scratches on our light gray siding that don’t even come off with heavy scrubbing OR the power washer. We brought this all to our salespersons attention immediately. Even though this company mentions siding services on their website, we were told they "don’t really do siding", that nothing could be done about our j-channels or the dark marks, and that they would see what they could do about fixing the flashing around the dormers “for an additional fee”. They came out to look and said they would figure out a solution. When they contacted us later to schedule a time to come out and fix the problem areas, we told them we were going to be out of town for a week, and not to come at that time because we wanted to be there when they came to fix it. When did they show up? When we were out of town! My Mom was watching our house and called me completely freaked out that there were strange men knocking on the door wanting to work on our house. I told her to tell them they would need to come back the following week. The project manager then called my husband questioning why I told them we no longer wanted them to fix the problem. Really?? They were told to come back the following week, not to never come back again. So, the good communication stopped with Spencer. They eventually did come out to fix our dormers. However, I am extremely disappointed that any company would leave a house the way ours was left and be okay with that. And they were okay with it, because if we hadn’t brought these issues to the salespersons attention, nothing would have been fixed. Our neighbors even said “those dormers are not right!” My question to Kerrigan is, if this was YOUR house, would YOU have been happy with the result at the end of the installation? If your house was left the way ours was in these photos, would you have been okay with that? If your answer is no, then why would you leave my house like that and WHY would you charge me extra money to fix only some of YOUR mistakes?? I guess I wasn’t a big enough b****. Someone who was wouldn’t have been charged extra money to make this right. Oh, and they screwed up our j-channels so badly that, during a recent strong wind (on 11/15/2020), two j-channels came away from the roof/siding junction, and two sections of our siding were billowing in the wind. My father had to come fix it. Take a look at the photos and see for yourself. All of these were taken after the installation was completed. Don't use this company! Look elsewhere for quality work."

  • "In May of 2020 Kerrigan Roofing installed a new roof on my house. They did an excellent job and my yard was clean when the finished. In March of this year my neighbor and I had our roofs damaged by raccoons. When I got home from work my neighbor was talking to another roofing contractor and was being told it would be a month before they could get to the repairs. I called Kerrigan Roofing, explained what had happened, and sent them photos of the damaged. Rain was expected the next evening and I wanted the roof repaired by then. I was told they could take care of the repairs before the rain came. At that time, I handed my phone to my neighbor and he also had Kerrigan Roofing repair his roof. The following afternoon both roofs were repaired before the rains came. Service was fast, work was professional and the yard was clean when they finished. Thank you Kerrigan Roofing for excellent service."

  • "I’d give them zero stars if I could. I tried calling twice, the first time I talked to someone who took all my information and said he’d have to call the guy who does the inspections and give him my number to call me to set up a time to come look at my leaky roof. I waited 2 weeks. No call. I called back. A very rude girl who answered the phone lied and said the man had tried to leave me a voicemail and I never called back. Which was a straight lie, I never got a call from them. Once again she said she’d give him my number for him to call me, that was a week ago and I still haven’t heard anything from them. I have moved along to try to find another company who actually wants business."

  • "i Signed a contract with Jon for roofing for my house and another house that i own next door as well . Well once I signed the contract then there was ZERO communication after that i kept calling and no response. Then a month later I decide to call again and ask what is happening he then says the company has lost the contract and i needed to redo the paperwork and i agreed and redid the paperwork he said even though the contract was lost he still had the items ordered and i was still on schedule to have both roofs done then was told they would contact me within the week and then once again i heard NOTHING. Few weeks later i called Jon and asked about my roof project and he said he would check the status on it and let me know. Well here i am 2 months later again with no phone calls no letters and no update on what is happening So now i have a pointless contract with a company that just doesn't care to hold up their end of the contract since this is a good huge project for them to replace 2 whole roofs. So now i signed a new contract with another company and their communication is amazing and have already told me a date for them to be starting on both of my roofs. I will not use kerrigan in the future this has ruined my image for this company...... have a good day"

  • "A rep from Kerrigan knocked on our door (and others in our neighborhood) in June and offered to check our roof. They found damage and told us they would do the work for what our insurance paid. We signed their exclusivity agreement. Apparently, however, our insurance didn't pay enough for them, and after several conversations about the low payment and promises to keep working on it, we heard nothing more. Phone calls, emails, and texts went unanswered for more than a month. We were left high and dry with a damaged roof, an unresponsive company, and our hands tied by their "agreement". After a month, we assumed the contract was broken and moved on. We found a new company who answered our questions, worked with our insurance company for a bigger payment based on market conditions, and did a fabulous job. Kerrigan did finally call us back after two months... to ask if we still needed the roof fixed."

  • "Had a few issues with our roof that was leaking, and cheap shingles the previous owner had installed. Kerrigan Roofing and Restoration came prepared Incase of this issue so no need of leaving to run to a store. They repaired 3 spots on our roof that they showed us with pictures and I feel confident that it is corrected. The installers were professional, courteous and really would have not known they were even here from the cleanup . Our salesman Jon Spencer was patient and confirmed everything he promised the day of the roof install. We really had a lot of questions and worry with this project and We are very happy and Jon took care of everything. I am a Master Gardener with OSU and all of my plants and shrubs were protected. • "Spencer Ferst did a great job managing my project from start to finish. Excellent communication and the project started and completed on time and with no surprises at the end. The quality of the project is what I expected from Kerrigan and reinforces the reason I chose them to replace my roof and gutters. I will strongly recommend Kerrigan Roofing to my friends."

  • "The whole team did a great job! Spencer took time to explain the process, interacted with my insurance company, and kept me informed along the way. Very personable. Really appreciate him being here when insurance adjuster inspected the roof. Appreciate Tyler keeping me updated and being involved in the job. The crew was amazing...3 long days for our job. Respectful, courteous, professional and careful with landscaping. All and all very positive experience! We really appreciate good communication. Kerrigan certainly provided! Highly recommend."
