"My roof (GAF brand) was installed by Eiseman in 2011. I noticed gradually increasing water leak near closet corner in recent years, which is close to chimney. I called a chimney inspection and they found there is no flashing installed between chimney and roof, which should be taken care by the roof installer. I called Eiseman and asked if they could come to take a look and if there is anything they can help in this case. They told me it has passed 5 years and they are not responsible even if there is no flashing (they just claimed that flashing could be taken off later after installation...). They told me to open a claim with the roof manufacturer GAF, which makes no sense since the installer should know how to install the roof correctly. I doubt if Eiseman knows what is required on the roof and if they are qualified to do their job. Do not trust this if you need a roof installer."
