  • "STAY AS FAR AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY AS YOU POSSIBLE CAN. I had a new roof installed in 2017 that came with a 30 year warranty on the product, as well as a 5 year warranty on the labor. I also had new chimney caps, flu caps, and gutters installed. Well, let me just say that it has been nothing less than a nightmare. However, I am not going to waste your time reading this review with details of all of the problems, rather I am going to highlight some vital facts. The most important is that while this company was installing the roof they ripped the venting system of the GAS water heater, which potentially allow carbon monoxide to leak into your home. I have children sleeping on both sides of the gas water heater, and I would have never know if I didn't open the closet to turn up the hot water, and just to be clear no consultant discussed an type of prevention of carbon monoxide with me. Ultimately, I paid a company to have the gas exhaust vents repaired even thought I was told by nations management team that they would pay to have it repaired right away. IT NEVER HAPPENED! The Chimney caps never matched, and to this day it's obvious that one of the chimney caps was rattle canned with cheap black spray paint, which it's not even black anymore because the paint washed off. Additionally, the installers who installed the flu cap and chimney cap used something other then masonry screws into the fire place, which has caused damage to the brick fire place. AGAIN, I HAD TO PAY FOR THIS TO BE FIXED. On to the gutters, lets just say that when it rains the water flows over the top of the gutters making it look like a water fall, which has damaged the wood around the gutter. YES, YOU GUEST IT! I GET TO PAY FOR THAT DAMAGE TO. Most recently, after filing an insurance claim my insurance company inspect my roof and let me know that there are some concerns that should be addressed. Therefore, I contacted nations roofing company, and after multiple attempts I finally received a call back on FEB 25th. I told them that my master closet and bath area flooded from water leaking from the roof. Reluctantly, Sue scheduled an appointment for someone to look at the roof on March 5th. Well, on March 10th Sue and a young kid showed up. Upon arrival, I showed Sue the contract and reviewed with her what my concerns were. Sue's her first words to me were "we don't cover labor" although she could clearly see that my contract has a 5 year labor warranty. The young kid went up on my second story roof for about one minute. When he came back down he and sue whispered over in the corner for a minute or two and then said, there is no hail damage! WHAT? I told sue that I already had the roof inspected and that it needs to be taken care of. She said that she can send a service contractor here to look at it, but that I will be responsible for the cost Lastly, it is now April 20th and I have NOT received a response back from this company. I have left multiple phone messages with the company, specifically Sue, as well as an email with the president of the company."
