"We had needed a new roof for a while and had several people come out for estimates. Jake was the most responsive and helpful of them all. He never made us feel like we couldn’t ask questions and was super present during the job. Materials came fast and they put the roof in on time, I think they even finished a day earlier than expected. Our roof and custom gutters are expertly installed and beautiful - exactly what we wanted. They also replaced the lenses on our skylights and they are amazing. So much better than what we had. We got a 50 year shingle, so we don’t expect having him back for a new roof during our lifetime but if we ever move and need a roof, Jake will be the first person we call!"
"LoveRain came as a referral and I immediately reached out to schedule an inspection. We scheduled a visit with paying a $225 non-refundable deposit (shocked as they were the only one who required one but we were told it would be credited to the invoice if we used their repair services and we had what we thought was a great referral.) A few days post inspection date I reached out just assuming someone had come while we were not home on the day they scheduled us and asked for the inspection report. There wasn’t one because a technician never arrived. They rescheduled and a different technician came out and told us that a report would be emailed to us within a day or two. A week and a half - 2 weeks later no report. Reached back out and they informed me that they got ahold of the technician and he’d be in touch. He informed me that it got lost in the mix of his other jobs and he’d send it over. Received the inspection and repair costs which were significantly higher and they also only credited us for a portion of the $225 inspection fee that was to go towards the repairs should we have chosen their services. At that point I had zero faith in using them for the repairs and was out time plus $225 when we had 2 other companies come give bids after with zero financial commitments. In my opinion inspections are part of the job and I’ll never pay another deposit again, especially knowing that there’s companies who require the customer to follow up multiple times and it didn’t seem like it was worth their time but they already had the deposit with zero recourse on our end. I received a ‘follow up’ email 9 months later asking if I still needed assistance with our roof and expressed my issues and concerns. Glad that others were happy with their services, but unfortunately they dropped the ball with us."
