  • "This place is a joke to work for. Had crew leaders that were either alcoholics or a coke head that was hardly on site. Some leaders didn't know the right way a ladder gets set up-and I mean putting the foot side down. I mean come on, doesn't stepping on the round part of the rung just feel wrong? And safety isn't really a concern. New employees are briefed at the shop about safety but crew leaders on site will actually tell at you for attaching you fall arrest line to your lanyard.."just let your lanyard drag and if you see an safety inspector, then clip on and let the rest of us know." Management cares about money alone. Why do you think they offer employment the way they do. Show up and maybe there's work. But you have to show up every day. And they let some employees get laid off so they can collect EI and go back to NFLD but only if they like you, the rest either work right through winter or get reduced hours or fired."
