Customer Reviews

"Preface: I'm a patient individual, so it takes a really bad experience for me to want to provide an in depth negative review of your company ------------------------- My wife and I live in a condo where we've been dealing with a roofing leak. Adco was contracted to come up for an inspection and they called to set up a time with me. Both my wife and I work, so this is challenging with a dog a home. Long story short.....they showed up when they wanted to without bothering to call me. They startled my pregnant wife and scared the life out of my dog and I end up leaving work for an appointment time they didn't bother to call about rescheduling. After calling, their phone operator just stated they probably didn't read the note and they're too busy to pay attention to things like this. I'm sorry- this is my home! If you're busy it's because people hire you. If you're too busy to be professional and respect the properties you're being contracted to go to, then maybe I'll be telling my HOA and every owner in my neighborhood to make sure you do not get another contract in our area. Maybe then you wouldn't be so busy and you could conduct your company like professionals."
"I live in a condo with 6 units connected. These roofers first did my building. They gave us a flyer stating what 2 weeks they would be working and what hours. Also to not park near the building because they will have to park their trucks in those areas. I work at home and had to move my clients from those 2weeks. They didn’t show up and moved the 2 weeks to another time without letting us know. Then when they worked, they didn’t clean up all the days there. We had tons of plastic paper, plastic circles with nails in them, pieces of shingles, their soda cans, and empty water bottles were everywhere each day they worked! I picked up the trash especially because of the nails being on our areas to park and pull into our garages. This happened every time they came. Two weeks after they were done, it rained very hard and more stuff kept coming off the roof! They obviously didn’t clean up there either. I ended up getting one of their nails in my tire! I do recognize their nails. Also had a leak where the chimney is coming out of the roof. Still waiting for someone to call me to fix it! This coming is horrible!"
"You could go crazy trying to become an instant expert on roofing so that you know the right questions to ask roofing firms. There are so many types of roof and so many brands and options for each type. Also, note that a lot of Youtube clips are more pertinent to other parts of the country, or they engage in scare tactics: “Your house is gonna burn down!” I went with Adco after calling about a half-dozen roofers. Some of the least impressive were among the top-rated on Yelp, so don’t believe everything you read online. Do your own homework. That said, I’m here to tell you that Ray and Bill at Adco were 100% honest, responsive, and knowledgeable. I have a flat roof, and went with the “torch reroof” using Poly-Fresko G. I could have gone other routes, say, TPO ( thermoplastic polyolefin), and some other ones I’ve mercifully emptied from my head. But I already had this system (albeit poorly installed many years ago). Anyway, the Adco guys first had to remove the old layers using sub-contractors - so make sure they are properly supervised. The subbies left a bit of a mess, but Adco staffers quickly remediated. The reroof itself was a relatively simple process, evidently. And most importantly, the leaks have stopped. I subsequently bugged Ray over some imaginary concerns and paranoias. He was very patient, and said to call him the next time these happen and he’ll do a u-turn on the freeway and come over to investigate. Which he actually did, and he talked me off the roof, metaphorically speaking."
