  • Blue sky Roofing and Builders from Colchester VT are awesome! Matt’s and Leland Gazo represent an amazing company that not only follows through with timely and top quality work , but the crew that actually shows up with Leland on the job to do the roofing work are the most professional and hard workers that not only do fantastic work, but respect your privacy and property like it’s their own! I would hire Bluesky and the Gazo Team for any project on your home or business! I am very particular and they did a fantastic job on our roof! Chris Conant Colchester VT

  • I would go different route next time. They subbed out every part of the job. Tear off and paper crew were hacks- broke basement window, trampled bushes 12 ft from house, didn't sweep roof surfaces put ice and water over loose nails, did very poor job drying-in house- it rained and insulation and drywall ceiling was destroyed. Water was pouring in and they refused to come deal with it so i was up on roof in thunderstorm. ONLY thing Blue Sky did was had a clueless site supervisor to oversee tear off and papering. He was only there half of the day and wasn't qualified- didnt even take one step up a ladder. Metal sub contractor was good. I got a lot of BS answers and promises from Blue Sky. If you use them and don't know anything about the trades make sure to have a GC keep an eye on their work because they sub stuff out and at least some of their site managers are worthless.

  • Initial Communication with Blue Sky was spotty and inconsistent. Flat roof work was quoted for the roof to shed water to roof edges. Upon inspection after the work was complete it was immediately apparent to the eye that a large depression was left in the roof center that did not drain at all when tested with a running garden hose for at least ten minutes, with a pool of standing water 7 sunny days later. Homeowner observed project manager sitting in his truck all day as the subcontracted workers completed the work. Blue Sky did return promptly to correct the work. Details were well executed but it should have been done correctly the first time. If not inspected by GC the reverse pitch would have allowed a substantial amount of water and weight to stay on the roof and most likely cause issues later.
