  • Our family had such a good experience working with Kevin and his crew with cornerstone! We had a huge tree fall on our slate roof of our favorite rental property and had to make a claim with State Farm. I considered using a different company that the agent with state farm initially suggested and I wasn't impressed with them, but as soon as I met with Kevin I knew he was very capable of doing the best job possible and making it easy for our family to work with the insurance company. Kevin was able to help my family find things that were damaged from the tree that we might not have noticed, and he was able to talk to the insurance company and got everything approved! We had a brand new slate roof installed, new gutters, fixed a tin roof, repaired/painted the plaster, and rebuilt a small fence, and all of it was quality work! I appreciated that Kevin kept in touch with me on a weekly basis on how I wanted the job done and when to expect it to be finished. It truly was a pleasure doing business with Kevin, and I would highly recommend working with Cornerstone if you have a project you want done professionally!

  • Kevin was on-time for all appointments and provided a detailed estimate. He was easy to communicate with as we clarified the scope of the project. It was not an easy project - replacing rotting siding, detaching a deck to install flashing, replacing rotting posts, and finally adding a screened porch. His team had input in the design that made for a great outcome. We thought we would need a sloped roof and they recommended the A-line pitched roof emphasizing it was going to look a lot better. It really does! They suggested the tongue-and-groove cedar ceiling and retractable screen doors that I didn't know existed. They even located shingles that matched the roof on the house! He communicated any changes to the estimate that included credits too. There were a few minor schedule delays but Kevin always communicated ahead of time and it wasn't a problem for us. Kevin handled permitting, inspections, and had a full staff of framing crew, roofers, painters, electricians, and screening. Small things came up such as the wrong materials and damaged materials were delivered, and Kevin resolved the issues immediately. We LOVE the porch. It looks like it's always been there. I have already recommended Kevin to a couple of friends and I look forward to working with him again.
