Beginning with office staff, I was notified of all scheduling, and they were responsive when I had questions. The roofing crew removed my old roofing, repaired some damage and installed a new metal roof that matches another part of my house. The crew and supervisors were efficient and respectful of the property. They cleaned all scraps from the yard and completed this job within 2 days."

"Had two leaks on a twenty year old roof. Showed up to provide an estimate when they said they would. Turned around a reasonable estimate quickly and scheduled the work. They showed up on time. When the leak required additional masonry work beyond their scope, they provided me with a quality masonry sub that came out quickly, provided a reasonable estimate for the work and got it done. Cowan came back immediately and flashed in the chimney and no leaks since. They didn't try to sell me a new roof because they said the shingles were still in pretty good shape for their age. They didn't try to charge me extra even though they encountered a problem that was not roofing. Awesome service and quality work. When I do finally need a new roof, I can tell you who I will be calling. Great company."

"We were in need of gutter guards, Cowan roofing came out and took measures within 24 hours of my call. The gutter guards were obtained and they came out to install. The guards were quickly installed on our garage, but there was an issue with the fit on the house gutters. The folks at Cowan had to come out and do additional measurements, they order the needed guards and installed. Everyone throughout the experience everyone was helpful and friendly. I would highly recommend Cowan Roofing."

The work crew hustled from the moment they showed up on site until they left a few hours later. They were meticulous in cleaning up any stray debris or screws, using a magnet bar to ensure the yard and driveway were clear. The crew did a beautiful job on our home. "Excellent business to work with and amazing quality and detailed attention. After pricing out multiple quotes for a full roof replacement, Cowan's quote came back very reasonably priced, and I was able to purchase much higher quality roof for the same price the others charged for a basic one. On initial free quote, they did an excellent job - walking the entire roof and sketched a full detail design of the job. That was my first indication that these guys are very thorough in their work. They showed up on time, worked hard, and had everything done on time. Another key indicator that their work is quality - they picked up every single piece of demolition and construction material, and I couldn't find even a single staple or nail anywhere (and I really looked). Roof is beautiful, very well constructed, and I've spent my money well. I can finally sleep tight in every storm for the next 30 years."

"We had leaking in a bathroom around a skylight and contacted Cowan in November. The replacement of the skylight was done yesterday, Jan 19th. I am hopeful the problem is resolved now. Time will tell. Due to Covid and the holidays the timing to get this done was not ideal but I’m grateful it is done. My only criticism is poor communication. The last conversation with the company rep was in early December to say he would contact me when the skylight came in to schedule the replacement. No contact was ever made to schedule the work. Yesterday the men who showed up to do the work did not knock or introduce themselves but just started climbing to the roof. I went out to confirm who they were when I heard the noise from the ladder being set up. They did not knock or communicate with me when the work was completed. These are simple common courtesies and customer service steps that should be taken. I was home yesterday but there were no steps taken to confirm that before the work was undertaken. Someone could have been using the bathroom when they climbed on the roof with no communication with the household. I do not understand why I was not contacted by the company rep to schedule the repair and confirm someone was going to be at home. That would be a reasonable safety measure that should always be taken. Again, I’m grateful the work is done, however, the company needs to improve their customer communications!"

The job was completed on time, within budget and the clean-up was impeccable. Mollie managed our project from start to finish. She communicated regularly, checked the job site throughout the project and did a final walk through to check the finished product and cleanup. Mel and his crew were great. They took special care to protect our landscaping and cleaned up the job site everyday to make sure our cat didn’t encounter any nails.
