"Dear Mr., T.K. Hamilton, My roofing situation began the first part of September 2022 when severe weather caused a torrential rainstorm to strike with more rain to fall than the area usually gets in a month. The town of Summerville, Georgia was severely and adversely impacted by the storm with flooding to the area, and massive storm damage to many of the downtown buildings and many of the homes in the adjacent area. The Georgia Governor, FEMA and GEMA, and the Red Cross along with many church disaster recovery crews and individuals responded to help those in need. I happened to be present during the storm and witnessed damage to our home during the rainstorm and immediately took steps to remedy as best I could any further damage to the home. After advising our homeowner’s insurance company, I also contacted three roofing companies in the area that advertised roof repair and replacement. Only Midian Roofing responded as I needed. That is when I met with Cody Rose a representative of Midian Roofing. From the very beginning, Cody was professional, polite, and provided us with a sense that he was also someone who could be trusted. Within minutes of his review of the damage, he gave us an assessment that wasn't easy to hear, but later proved to be accurate. Even more so, than the assessment provided by the insurance companies field claim's adjuster. That field claims adjuster was way off, claiming the damage was not weather or roof related, rather, because of humidity and condensation, and poor roof ventilation in an unfinished interior area of the house over the kitchen, and we had the photographs taken by us, and those provided by Cody Rose as support. In the end, the insurance company refused to pay out on the claim, assessing the damage to meet what Cody originally assessed as: improper roof installation of the original roof in 2007. They also added, this was compounded by inadequate roof maintenance following the initial roof installation. What is very surprising is that the home's roof has survived without incident or failure since 2007 when built and passed inspected just prior to our purchase in January 2020. Though the roof passed a house inspection then but failed during a severe weather incident that brought more than ten inches or rainfall and high winds during the storm that also brought severe flooding to the town and damaged many other homes and businesses in the immediate area. Cody Rose's professionalism, politeness, and his providing and accurate assessment and his willingness to ensure that whether we paid for a total replacement, or just a repair, he would ensure the work was done to his satisfaction is what earned our business. Too, he shared how the owner (T.K. Hamilton) of Midian Roofing was also a believer in Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord and took sharing his faith in Christ in all aspects of his dealings with his employees, with the community, and the public, in all honesty is what sealed the deal. I am grateful for Cody Rose and Midian Roofing's way of promoting their faith in Christ, and the professionalism in which they provide their services. After the initial roof repair, we had another severe weather event that revealed the leak had not been repaired effectively the first time. When I advised Cody Rose, he immediately responded with having the Residential Project Manager Kevin Weaver, who immediately scheduled a second repair to discover the source and repair it. The job required a ‘water-test’ and more patching of the affected area. It looks like the roof repair will hold until we can afford to have the roof replaced. When I can afford to do so, I will be calling on Midian Roofing to do the job. I have an absolute confidence in their professionalism and the quality of their work. I know it will be done right, with the right attitude, and with the right Spirit. "It was a very smooth and efficient process. Customer service outstanding… the smiles and the family feel in the office was warming. My roof is beautiful beautiful and did I say beautiful. There was one slight hiccup in my landscaping and they got right on it and it’s like new. I highly recommend this company for the customer service the quality of work and the price is A+"
