The goal of the GAF RoofCycle™ process is to divert waste away from landfills and convert it into high-quality technologies society can use across various industries every day.
Recycling asphalt shingles for industrial applications
The GAF RoofCycle™ process breaks down shingle waste into three byproducts, taking the form of mineralized asphalt powder, briquettes, and rock granules. These reclaimed materials can either be used to produce new, high-quality asphalt shingles, or they can be incorporated into industrial applications for roads, pavement, and infrastructure.
