GAF Coatings can be used to repair, restore or completely reroof a wide variety of roof substrates, including metal, aged single-ply, smooth and granulated asphaltic, structural concrete, SPF, and previously coated acrylic.
The important thing to remember when comparing silicone to acrylic as a roofing solution is that one is not better than the other. Each simply solves a different challenge.

Depending upon the product chosen, and the GAF certification level of your contractor, GAF Roof Coating systems may be eligible for limited guarantees up to 20 years. Many GAF Roof Coatings Systems are repeatedly renewable as well, capable of having their effective lifespan extended for decades.
GAF Liquid-Applied Roofing Systems are eligible for limited guarantees between 10 and 20 years, depending on factors including system selected and certification level of your selected contractor.
