  • "We hired Aloha to remove our existing roof and install a new asphalt shingle roof. We accepted the bid as presented and our cost was five figures. Unfortunately we were quite disappointed with the quality of the work, communication, and follow through. Some specific areas of disappointment: More than six months passed between accepting the bid and actually starting the project. It required several phone calls to get on the schedule. Then, they did not start work when scheduled and left to go hunting in the middle of the project. They told us to expect a two day job, it took a week to complete the bulk of the work and it is still not done. We were forced to rearrange our own work schedules several times to accommodate repeated delays. Once we cut the check, they seem to have abandoned the job completely despite committing to return and finish up. They have said "tomorrow" a few times, but don't show up or call. Gutters they'd removed for the demo of the old roof were not reaffixed. They also threw away entire portions of the gutters and damaged other portions. Nails, staples, shingles and other debris are all over the yard and driveway and left clogging the gutters. The swamp cooler was removed when demoing the old roof, but was not reattached when they finished (it was left just sitting on the roof with no warning). They also cut the water line to the cooler. When demoing the old roof, they tossed the shingles off without protecting the sides of the house or sidewalks. They used wd40 to try and clean off some the tar that is now marking up the house, but that didn't do much other than add grease spots. Everyone involved in the project was nice enough throughout the process and they seem to be knowledgeable about their trade. But it feels like they have more work than they can accomplish in a professional manner and don't care about inconvenience to the customer or making the effort to get things done properly."

  • "At one time aloha was the go to guy I've delt with them in the past, same owner same crew all I can say is be careful read reviews and take mine with a grain of salt. Made a few attempts to reach someone but only after leaving a message did they return a call owner came out took some measurements and said he would have an estimate ready n never sent it. Called and messaged again with no response. It's a shame when good paying customers get left out in the cold maybe it's for the best."

  • "I recommend Aloha. We had our whole roof stripped and replaced and all vents replaced. It was a great job and price. And I was very impressed with their clean up. We have 3 fur babies that mean the world to us and I was glad to see how diligent they were in their clean up to prevent anything left that could cause harm to our dogs or their feet :)"
