Our new roof looks great and they did a really good clean up after the work was done. Would definitely recommend this company."

  • "I hope the roof quality is better than the customer service at this business. Craig seemed all positive that my roof, the gutter and the chimney could be done following Hurricane Sally damage. I ordered the shingles back in November. Waited and waited, always me calling them to ask if they were in yet. Finally, someone offered me the chance to change the color, as the originals were not in production. A week or so after the new order, someone finally calls to tell me that my shingles are back ordered and recommend choosing a new color. Which I explained, I had already done. Apparently, there is very little communication within the company. So the shingles are finally in and they set a date, I take a vacation so I can be there. I was ready early. Waited. Waited. Finally at 10 am I called them, and lo and behold they got behind on other jobs and would not be coming until tomorrow. But I can’t take another day off so suddenly. I don’t know when or if they planned to call me about the delay. I think I only found out accidentally. They finally said they would come late in the day to remove the shingles, and then install the new roof the next day. Which they did. Whether Craig or anyone else came to check on the workers, I have no idea. But after it was done, I see that my broken gutter is still hanging and the new roofing parts have been cut to fit around it! When I wanted it removed. And nothing was said to me about the chimney at all. And now, after Craig and one of the owners assured me they had workers who could do chimney repair, now they want to refer me to another company for that. Which is just as well. I don’t want to use them again anyway. And I’m still going round and round about the damn gutter. They don’t answer calls until you get mean and snarky with them and write a bad review. It’s unfortunate to do business this way. Again, I hope the quality of the roof is better than the communication from this company."

  • "Spoke with Craig Blanton about roof repair after hurricane Sally.They did a good job on the roof except for a spot in corner which we agreed should have been repaired.I had to hire another person to fix that corner.So I finally paid the bill anyway without the corner being fixed.I then put this house on the market and had a buyer who’s inspector found some rotten wood that should have been replaced.I called Craig Blanton back because he told me that I had a five year warranty on the roof.He told me that was on the eave and they weren’t responsible for that even thought it was part of the roof decking which should have been replaced at the time of the roof replacement.Long story short ,keep a close eye on their crews at time of construction because they will cut corners and the warranty means nothing to this company!!!"

  • "**Update in response to the owner of the company** If you need receipts and phone records to show a chronological time frame we would be more than happy to supply that. As far as our insurance saying it was good enough, please tell me when, where, and with who that conversation occurred. The photos of our roof after your tarping job show that parts of our damaged roof were still exposed. The office manager, Amber Finazzo, should already know about these pictures as she "liked" my review on Facebook but had no comment on her appalling behavior. If you're truly interested in having a conversation about your customer service, or lack of, your office has my contact information. "If you're looking for quality from people who actually care about your business continue searching because they are not it. After Sally, Southeast Roofing was recommended to us by a friend who has a family member that works for the company. The first tarp job was done and we were told we had to pay $500 out of pocket as a "down payment". A few days later we noticed the tarp was not secured down. We called Southeast and the guy they sent out said it would be fine. There was nothing to fix. After 2 weeks, the tarp was blown over, exposing damaged parts of our roof to the elements. My husband called Southeast numerous times about the quality and was consistently told he would get a call back. We had decided to cut our losses but then Delta was possibly heading in our direction. Finally enough was enough and the last time my husband called he refused to hang up until he talked to someone to resolve our problem. A woman comes on the phone and says, "Mr. Stanley, what do you want?". He begins to explain himself only to be cut off and asked again what he wants. So he tells her he wants his money back if they're not going to fix the tarp job. She proceeded to laugh in a condescending tone and tell my husband that not only would we not be getting a refund but that if anything we OWE them money. She proceeded to tell him that they performed a $1500 tarp job and only charged us $500. She then told him their business was done. They went back and forth for awhile about this. She then said, "you have a tarp on your roof don't you?" My husband began to again describe the lack of quality in the tarp job to which she said, "You have a tarp on your roof and our business is done. Have a nice day." Please, please, PLEASE do not make the same mistake we did! Thankfully our homeowners insurance plans on reimbursing our $500 but at this this point is just the principle of the whole thing. How can you treat people in such a disgusting manner? What a miserable group of individuals."
