"Mark McAllister was hired to perform a full house remodel for my company for a house I owned in Wycliff subdivision in Lake Worth. Mark gave us a bid for $107,000 for a full remodel saying that this would bring the house to a market ready condition-ready to be inspected and purchased by a buyer. He also told us he would have this completed in no more than 90 days. This was in May of 2022. Estimated completion late August. We eventually put the property under contract with a buyer, before the house was finished, in October. House still not done. We had the house inspected and produced a long punch list of items that were not completed. We requested him to complete these items and he said he would. In January 2023, punch list still not completed, house still not done, we were forced to reduce the sales price with the buyer's by $30,000 for them to take the house as-is. Then, at the closing, he sent us another bill for $3,150 for items he completed after he was told to stop work on the house by our real estate agent, who referred him to us. DO NOT, under any circumstance, use this contractor. He will take advantage of you and leave you with an incomplete product. Feel free to call me or email me for the full story."
