Steps to recover an existing roof with TPO
Preparing a TPO roof for a smooth EverGuard TPO recover with GAF TPO Quick Spray is technically simple, yet comprehensive:
Mandatory Pre-Inspection
Your contractor schedules a pre-inspection visit from a GAF, Field Service Representative (FSR), which includes moisture scans and core cuts.
Preparation
If approved, the roof must be cleaned and prepared according to specific technical guidelines.
Verificación
The second GAF Field Services site visit is to check preparation and ready-to-go status, to ensure the roof has been properly prepared, at which time the FSR provides a "letter of readiness" or specific guidance.
Installation & close
At the final inspection the FSR evaluates the recovered roof’s suitability for a 20-year NDL (No Dollar Limit) Guarantee.
