"Went to Bates roofing for a bid on the house I was buying. The roof needed to be replaced and the sellers replaced it. Dwayne communicated well with both myself and the seller, made sure the warranty was transferred to me before closing, and the roof was done fast and well!! They did an excellent job all around. Highly recommend!"
"Bates crew showed up promptly in hot weather, ready to work and did a complete roof replacement including new plywood all the way around. Looks fantastic ( I love the rustic look) but only time will tell how it holds up. I'm assuming well. The minus star is for having to wait for my seamless gutters with gutter guards to be installed but that is not the fault of Bates. These guys work like a well oiled machine. They left my property clean and did not damage anything. And most of all the quote for the complete works could not be beat! UPDATE Just had a contractor from weatherization program come to do a check on insulation work when he crawled up into the attic and took photos of shingles laying all around my attic now covered in insulation. He said this was because the roofers were just being "lazy" and did not want to remove them. I am upset about this as shingles laying in an attic could possibly cause fire hazard. Also the plywood that was supposed to be cut for ventilation was not cut large enough. I spent a lot of money for a complete re-roof with new plywood throughout and now to find out the roofing crew were cutting corners and leaving shingles all around my attic. It now makes me wonder the "quality" of the shingle installation itself. Always be aware when a roofing job is finished anything left behind and check your attic. I'm not sure but debris like that combined with sawdust could be very dangerous."
