Customer Reviews

"I had a service call out to Trinity on regards to my heat pump. The tech was very efficient, found the problem right away, and bang-o...fixed"
"I’m not one for leaving Google reviews, but my experience with Trinity Energy has been so painful I feel the need to share it. I had a home energy audit done by Trinity for the Canada Greener Homes Grant and Loan. Based on the audit, we decided to add solar to our house. Trinity wrote the post inspection report; however, they made a mistake, and stated our system is only ¼ of its actual size. The Greener Homes Grant is based on the size of the system, so understating the size will cost us grant money, as I understand it. My problem isn’t that the mistake was made, those will happen, my issue is I brought up my concern over 2 months ago. Since then, I’ve reached out roughly 20 times between phone calls and emails. I’ve had one reply, a month ago, saying they’ll look into it, and I haven’t heard anything since. I haven’t submitted my documents to Greener Homes yet as I don’t want to risk having my grant / loan rejected due to the incorrect report, so I’ve now been delayed over 2 months for the $40,000 I’m expecting between grant and loan proceeds. I’d strongly recommend looking for another company to do a home energy assessment as they don’t seem to be able to correct it if something goes wrong. I’m hoping that Trinity checks their Google reviews more often than their voicemail so that I might be able to get some follow up with this. ***UPDATE*** Mark at Trinity was able to reach out to me today and he resolved my concerns. It's still frustrating that 2 months of phone calls and emails went unanswered, but a 1 star google review had things fixed in a business day. The inspection itself was done on time, and the report was given to me when I was told I would have it, so for those reasons, I've updated my rating to 3 stars."
"Great to work with in regards to service, communications, planning. However when the job was complete our yard was left in quite a mess - all the wooden circles they cut to install the insulation was strewn everywhere, and there were piles of cellulose all over my garden and patio. Edit: The company reached out and did help me out with this, so I appreciate that response."
