"If you ever want to know just how many roofing companies there are in your area, leave a shingle flipped up! Our poor roof was getting more and more ragged with each passing wind storm. The shingles just wouldn't stay down. We knew we needed a new roof, but the constant barrage of cards and knocking of hopeful roofers had us overwhelmed, as did the prospect of having to fight a certain insurance company (SF) that is notorious for denying claims. Literally every roof in our neighborhood that had not been replaced yet, was a SF roof. When I would tell other roofers who we had, about half of them laughed and told us good luck! Not these lovely fellows! They came out several times, petitioning on our behalf and sending piles of evidence in the form of photos and videos to SF, until they could not deny any longer- our roof was not repairable. On to the actual installation of the roof- these guys are fast! I couldn't believe how quickly they had the new roof on and everything cleaned up. I was so worried about nails in our tires but they take such care to pick up anything left behind, in the grass, the driveway, and all the flower beds. Really a wonderful, professional company to work with. I am happy to recommend them to anyone who needs a roofer! Thank you again! Our new roof is gorgeous!"
"After incurring some severe damage to my roof I was approached by no less than 5 different roofers to repair it. I chose Transcend based on personal referrals and reviews and I'm grateful for their services. I ended up fighting with my insurance company for over two months and was told they would only "patch & repair" my roof. I was assisted from my initial call to the insurance company to the final nail driven for my roof replacement. Were it not for Gary Yak and the staff at Transcend I would have probably wound up with a "patch job." We fought the good fight and with Transcend's inspections, photos, and written reports I don't think the insurance company had a chance. When we scheduled the roof replacement, the crew arrived at daybreak and worked steadily the entire day, pounding the final nail moments before dark! I can't believe how efficient and thorough they worked to complete the job. I also have to point out that the cleanup process was nothing short of amazing! My home and yard were cleaner and nicer than when they arrived! If you happen to need any roof work, you would be hard pressed to find another contractor more hands on and competent than the folks at Transcend. I couldn't be happier with their personnel and service and highly recommend them!"
