"In May 2022, following the derecho storm, my house was left with a smashed chimney, broken roof rafters, peeled off shingles, shredded eavestroughing and facia. This stressful situation continued unresolved for months until I contacted Top Hat, which has a well deserved reputation of excellence and the expertise to address all of these repairs. Everyone there was professional and efficient, but there are a few who deserve special mention. John Nuthers was outstanding as he coordinated all of the trades and kept me up to date, doing his utmost to schedule everything before winter halted progress. Fred Darby and the team of masons were very compassionate and their beautiful rebuild of my chimney in October (the first real progress) was a huge relief. The team of roofers squeezed in my roof repairs just before Christmas. I am indebted to Top Hat for the peace of mind I enjoyed this winter. August 2023 update: although the review is accurate, I haven’t enjoyed the same service this year regarding the remaining work that could not be completed before winter. I’ve gotten the runaround to a significant degree and finally been ghosted. Not very impressive as a lot of my time and effort was wasted."

"Shane and Kerry ie.installation crew are knowledgeable and friendly. The installation was done professionally and we are please with the new wood stove and stainless chimney. I would recommend anyone looking into a new wood stove to speak with Glen and he will point you in the right direction. We got an esummit stove which is a Canadian product and superior quality product. Shout out to Justin as he delivered a part needed to complete the installation and demonstrated that Top Hat stand by the services they offer and product they sale."
