About Us

T & G Roofing Company, Inc opened in 1989 in the city of Rancho Cucamonga and moved to Upland in 1998. Even with very little advertizing our company quickly grew. To this day we attribute this to a few simple but important business principles. The first and foremost is to know the value of your customer. The customer and their opinion/referral is what will make a successful business. We treat your home with the same respect we would treat our own home. Second is to have a good relationship with your employees. We have always had an open door policy for our employees to be able to express their concerns and ideas with us. We know that your construction project will only be as good as the installers we hire. Most of installers have been employed with T & G Roofing Company, Inc. for well over a decade, in addition we have two installers that have been continually employed with us for over 20 years, and another three installers that have 15 years. We think that this speak volumes for the type of ethics we believe in. If a company treats their employees with respect and provides a good pay for an honest days work they will stay loyal and always do their best. Loyal and happy employees are who you want working on your home. We look forward to earning your business. Services: Residential Re-Roofing & Repairs • We will supply all the City, County and State Licenses required for your roofing project. • Most projects will require a permit from your city; we will obtain permits and coordinate inspections for your roofing project. • If your project requires roof removal, we will protect the grounds from debris and provide the services to safety and efficiently remove your existing roof. • Structural engineering and roof re-enforcement along with the removal of existing deflection can be required on your project. We have the experience and stated licensed engineer on staff for all these needs. • Replacement of dry rotted and/or termite damaged lumber to the removal and replacement of all of your fascia board. We can also professional prime and paint the wood replaced to your entire home. • Installation of new plywood or OSB decking material. • Installation of just about every type of roofing materials. We specialize in GAF Lifetime Shingles, Concrete and clay tile, Asphalt composition shingles, Flat Patio covers, and all types of roof repairs. • Replacement of metal pipe flashings, drip edge metal, fireplace, skylight and all types of metal flashings is always included with your new roof.

I will say that the solar division of the company is the best, but the bottom line is, when something went wrong with anything (and you know it will with any project from anyone), they worked to fix whatever until I was happy. I have replaced four roofs in my lifetime, and the roof I now have is my favorite. I am glad that Mike was patient enough to wait an entire year until my mind was made up regarding the right shingle. Lynnae is a goddess, and knows more about solar than anyone I know and she is willing to put up with my endless questions. Owner Tom visited me twice just to make sure I was fine with the work. For such a big company, that is saying something."

I am a real estate agent and a SOLID, HONEST, and SERVICE ORIENTATED roofing company has been a problem solver in many transactions, and recently my own roof. Our roof leaked over our garage and after calling, they sent Mike right away to evaluate and set up a day for repair. Their crew worked quickly, clean, and reviewed all their work with me. They re-papered and re-tiled the area and all around it . Many roof companies take short cuts and over inflate their prices, but NOT this company!!!!"

"During last winter's rains, a suspicious spot appeared on our ceiling. Unfortunately, our roof had developed a leak. As our roof was already over 30 years old, we figured that it was time for a roof replacement. We did some research and asked friends then called for quotes from several different roofers. T&G came highly recommended by a friend who had her roof done by them. Of all the roofers we met, T&G was the most professional and knowledgeable. They were very thorough and gave us several options to consider, while carefully explaining them. They were also very patient when we changed our minds and decided to add a solar component to our project. They went through the system proposals in detail and we never felt rushed or pressured to take a particular route. Once we signed off on the dotted line, I was incredibly impressed by the process and the way work was completed. There are many different parts to the process, but as a homeowner, I didn't have to do any of the work or coordination, except on a couple days when I just had to make sure I was at home to provide access to the garage or attic. Otherwise, everything went super smoothly. When they found dry rot and damage to my roof, they called me to brief me and explain what needed changing. The workers that worked on the roof are incredibly skilled. We spent a lot of time observing them because my boys were fascinated by the process. They worked fast in difficult, hot, conditions and cleaned up everyday when they left. When there was a problem where some of my plants were damaged because they were in the way, they responded quickly, apologized and refunded me the cost of replacing those plants. After the roof and solar panels were installed, T&G walked me carefully through how my solar system worked and made sure I knew how to keep in touch with them if I ever had a problem. I know we made the absolute right choice. The roof and solar installation is beautiful and we have received many compliments on it. The workmanship is spectacular and they really value the customer. They are priced competitively too! I will not hesitate to recommend them to anyone looking for roof repairs/replacement and solar installation."
