  • "I’ve been calling for 2 weeks since they came out to do the annual maintenance on the panels. They said they’d have an engineer contact me, but I’ve called and left messages and no one answers my calls. I consistently get an answering service. I bought a home in December 2022 with Solar panels that were installed 4 years ago and they’re not reporting to FPL!"

  • "SunTec Solar was the provider and installer of my solar system. The initial installation and set up was accomplished with no problems. This company's concern for customer satisfaction after the sale and simply returning customer phone calls is sorely lacking. I have left numerous messages and fail to get return calls. I called the main office number and wanted to leave a simple message with the receptionist to have someone call me: I received an automated response to leave my message after the beep; after the beep, I received a message that stated the mail box was full and could not receive any further. I have never in my life heard of a business mail box that was full and unable to accept new messages. This alone says all you need to know about their concern for customer satisfaction!"

  • "Changed something in electrical panel at inspection (which failed by the way) that killed the juice to my power. Fought all weekend with dryer causing lights to flicker and ac not able to keep up. I have elderly in the house on oxygen and the Temps are in the eighties in the house. Then on Tuesday I finally get a call saying that I'll get a call from the scheduler on the next day. No effort at all. Completely unacceptable. Then hung up on when I finally decided to vent. During demo of roof, gutters damaged and still waiting on repair. Told it would it would take 2 days but 2 weeks in, still not complete."

  • "I have their system. Wasn't the Easiest. System hasn't been tested. So I don't know exactly what works. Would like to know if it worked before a Hurricane hit us. Not knowing if my Water pump works (which should it's 120), and if the System really works makes it hard to know what supplies I need. And if I need to run generators. If I ever know if it works or not. I will post results"

That was 2 weeks ago. They will not keep their word. No Honor. Save yourself the pain that you will have going with them. What is said and what is done. Is very different. I wouldn't wish them on anyone. One of my Worst Mistakes. Update..They came to my house without me knowing. Drove thru my gate completely trashing it. Said they would fix it. That was a lie because it's been a month now. They will not keep their Word. They have no Honor or Pride about their work."

With the high prices that we are all facing today you would think the company would understand and pay their employees for the work they have done. They need to overhaul their management team and get people that actually care about their employees and treat veterans with the respect they are due."

  • "Sun Tec did my home solar system installation in 2019. I will first say "don't expect a return phone call even when they tell you they will call". You will make several calls to acquire the service you want. Last Saturday (May 8,2022) one of my two inverters was diagnosed by their technicians as failed and I was told one would have to be ordered and that I would get an immediate call from an engineer to answer a technical question I raised regarding a potential upgrade of the inverter. I believe the inverters originally installed were undersized (two 3.8 Kw inverters for what was sold to me as a 9.86 Kw system). I never received the "immediate" call from an engineer and have called every day since then requesting to speak to someone as to the status of the replacement or potential upgrade, to no avail. Right now I am operating with only one half of what I believe to be undersized inverters and the company doesn't really seem to care. Unable to get status, schedule or a simple courteous/ professional return phone call. UNHAPPY CUSTOMER RIGHT NOW."

The company had all great incentives and a great percentage rate for the loan if you wanted to go that route HOWEVER as soon as we said we wanted to think about it the salesman became very uninterested in us, raised the price by quite a bit, AND raised the percentage rate that we would get with the loan. He also said we would have to book another appointment with him if we decided we were interested, and he is very busy and not sure when that could happen. Even going as far as showing his phone with all his appointments scheduled in there. Even if we were going to sign with them (which we will not) just for the unprofessional attitude after we said we wanted to think about it we will not sign up for solar with this company."
