"This is easily the single worst experience I have ever had working with a contractor. We were initially told that the roofers would be out on Thursday, but I reached out to them the day before to clarify at 4 PM and learned that was not going to be happening because it would be cold (high of 40). Fair, but I'd at least like to know. I got in touch with DeMatthew to ask why they never told us they weren't coming the day they initially said and he had no answer. They arrive Friday and start working, offer to replace the gutters (which are older but have no major issues besides blockage, and I was going to clean them myself in the summer), I decline until I see how they do the roof. Was supposed to be a one-day thing but they need to go the next day - fair enough, though leaving the dumpster in the driveway is less than ideal. However, they actually do not even finish the next day, but on Sunday. When I go outside, they left materials all over the lawn, trampled and destroyed our berry bushes, knocked a big chunk out of our stairs, had gutters BARELY INSTALLED and literally DANGLING (some birds are now creating a nest where that happened), as well as installed incorrectly in multiple places in such obvious ways like putting the wrong gutters in the wrong areas where they either dangled off the roof or were blatantly too short, damaged stucco near a dormer on our house (where carpenter ants are now intruding), did not secure gutters properly, etc...it was absolutely heinous, and I had to request that they come out to fix these issues MULTIPLE times, until I got so sick of asking that I decided to simply pay them, wait for the warranty, and handle everything else via eternal means since they're apparently incapable of doing a job correctly. Blatantly installing gutters incorrectly and trying to blame it on "pre-existing damage" when I could install them better myself is some of the most dishonest business I've ever seen, particularly since they were trying to leverage that into having us buy new gutters. Why would I trust you to install gutters after you did such an embarrassingly poor job installing our current ones? I don't trust the way they installed the roof at all either, so I'm getting in touch with another contractor about that as well. All damage to the house and poor installation is documented. All this is to say, to prospective clients - do NOT do business with Roofing PD in Michigan. And to Roofing PD - if you take issue with this review, feel free to contact me, but above all contact DeMatthew and his crew and figure out what in the world he was thinking, because these dishonest practices are exactly how you lose customers."

One week later they came in and replaced six of the trusses and replaced the entire roof. Finished it in 10 hours. Looks perfect. Stand up company that you can trust."

"We called Roofing PD to provide a quote to do a tear off and new roof, siding repairs, and new gutters, soffit and facia on a 30x40 pole barn. Patrick came out and was extremely knowledgeable and professional and he provided a very reasonable quote at the time of his inspection. He told us they would be able to do the work in 2 weeks, then called later in the day to let us know he had a cancellation the following week and could slot us in then if we wanted. We agreed. Within a week of Patrick coming out all the work was completed and everything looks great! They ran into a few issues which meant they had to do some additional work and they did not change the price. We would highly recommend Roofing PD and would definitely use them again. I've found referrals from builders to be the most valuable referrals there are - more trustworthy than online reviews or websites or anything else. Sure enough, Tony and his team did a very high quality job installing a new roof and skylights on our house, and were incredibly professional, fast, and honest. They are simply outstanding. Tony has followed up several times since the roof was installed. He also connected us with someone who installs gutter screens and likewise did a great job. "When looking for a roofing company to fix the second story roof of our house, I wanted to make sure to keep it in our community.
