"We initially rated R&G Roofing with a 5-star review and are now, regrettably, changing that to just two stars. During the full roof installation last fall (2021), R&G was professional and responsive and did a good job overall. They installed a new roof, including plywood, on our home and also re-shingled our garage. There was some damage during the installation, which happens. The first was a section of gutters on the garage that were damaged beyond repair. R&G replaced this section of gutters with no complaints. However, there was more damage to the sheetrock in the ceiling of a closet located in our finished attic. This occurred during installation while the roof was opened up and pieces of sheetrock came down in the closet (see photo) next to the AC ducts. Marcos, who was consistently kind and receptive, agreed to have this repaired. We told him not to rush to schedule since they were busy with other jobs. Unfortunately, we are now a year since the installation and when I've tried to follow up to ask when it will be scheduled, Marcos never calls back. I've called multiple times over the months and sent multiple emails and texts and it appears that he is ghosting us. I'm not sure of recourse other than to change our initial positive review. We will now have to pay out of pocket to get this repaired. We're not currently able to use the upstairs closet and there's a draft coming in from the unfinished section of the attic. We're disappointed that R&G never followed through with, what seems, like a fairly easy fix to damage caused by them."
