  • "Took 10 months to complete a bathroom renovation. I hired them in August 2020 when they were called Proper Contracting. Once the contract was signed company did not seem very interested in getting the job done. A few materials were ordered in October, then sat in my dining for months. In February 2021 I started being told as soon as one more thing showed up they would start. That item would arrive, and then it would be something else. The subcontractor starts in April, only to find that some stuff that I had been warehousing for free for 6 months is broken or wrong. If Proper had done some Project Management or Quality Control the renovation would have been completed in 2-3 weeks. Instead, it took 3 additional months because so many things had to be reordered. Proper Contracting served absolutely no purpose - just wanted to get my checks. No value-added."

  • "Avoid at all costs. Other reviews on Yelp show the company as closed, however they are open. They were contracted to replace my second story deck at the price of just over $4000. I paid $2000 up front. Took them over 6 months to begin work. Took them all of one day. They cut boards the improper length, filled the gaps with caulking instead of replacing the boards. They also failed to replace the support beams that were rotting. I refused to pay the remainder of the balance and (Andrea Trdina) immediately sent my account to collections. I finally got them to come back and fix some of the issues with the promise my account would be pulled from collections. They still refused to replace the support beams, stating they have fulfilled their obligation per the contract and payment was due in full. Their address is 5601 Virginia Beach Blvd. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THESE PEOPLE."

  • "Experience with this company was horrible very unprofessional staff in the office and in the field multiple problems I would not suggest this company to anyone else."
