"I have been trying to coordinate a roof repair for my neighbor who owns the town home directly next to my home. Polaris came out immediately when we called a few months ago and prepared an estimate for my neighbor. After several attempts to get them to do the roof repair and Promises that they would show up and then never call I am very confused as to what to do. Today I spoke with their office and was told once again why they weren't able to come out last Friday as one of their trailers broke. The lady I spoke to assured me she would call her crew and call me back letting me know when they could come. I never got a call. I am very puzzled by this situation as all of the reviews I've read say they're absolutely great. Is this happening to other people?"
"Polaris did a great job on our new roof and solartube installation. The final product is excellent and should last us a long time. Prices were competitive when compared to many other companies that we contacted in town. The crew doing the installation was awesome and did the job quickly. Communication from the folks in the office could have been better. We were told something like 4 weeks from signing the contract 'til the work would begin. During that time, the person managing our project left the company and it took several emails to other folks at Polaris to resolve the issue and figure out the timeline. Work was actually completed something like 3-4 months after contract was signed, and the crew showed up one morning to start the job on our roof without any real warning from the office. This is an issue in northern AZ generally, and not necessarily specific to this company. Tradespeople are booked out for long periods of time and don't have the time to communicate well. Anyway, all of this to say that we really like the final product and the crew and mostly have good things to say. Office communication could have been better."
