"UPDATE: The owner has since contacted us and we were able to resolve the financial matter at hand. ORIGINAL REVIEW We hired Pisgah Roofing to replace our roof and, upon the initial consultation, I let Billy know that we had a couple other quotes out of full transparency. Rather than saying why he believes we should choose Pisgah, he instead talked poorly of the other businesses, referring to them as like “two men and a truck.” This was the first red flag, but we ended up going with Pisgah because he quoted us the lowest number (he had knowledge of what the other quotes were). We paid half the amount when we signed on, and were told the other half would be due after installation. Three weeks after the roof was installed, he finally reached back out to have the final inspection and collect the second half of payment. We were shocked to then be told we owed another surprise additional $1875 that was NOT quoted for boards that needed replacing, on top of the second half of payment. We were expecting a couple hundred extra for replaced boards, as that’s what was discussed with Billy as well as other companies that we got quotes from, but we were incredibly shocked to hear this extremely high and very unexpected amount on top of what we were quoted and agreed on. This exorbitant charge was never communicated with us, or we would have gone with someone else. In fact, we specifically asked him from the beginning if he expected it to be a few hundred extra for boards, as that’s what others quoted, and he said that sounded right. At our request, they sent photos of the roof with the new boards, and they only replaced a handful of them, supposedly 150’ in total length, which would make each foot of wood $12.50, which is absolutely absurd to charge a customer without telling them this cost up front so they can expect a significant amount more than the quote. Again, we were expecting a couple hundred dollars, but this amount for just a few replaced boards is ridiculous, especially when you’re hiding the cost from your clients after saying it’d be a couple hundred extra. I’m not sure if this is an issue with this specific contractor or the company altogether, but I would not recommend them to anyone. If you’re in the market for replacing your roof, I’d recommend going with someone with a more transparent business practice who won’t claim you owe them another surprise $1875 over your agreed upon quote for replacing only a handful of boards."

As soon as materials were available and the crew could get out to make the repairs, they were there! Josh remained in contact and was great about letting me know what was going on. That was so appreciated! I would definitely recommend Pisgah Roofing and restoration to others! They repaired the roof and siding."
