  • "They have been very hard to work with. The response time for repairs is very minimal and have to constantly keep asking for updates. New build process should be a happy moment that has become a nightmare. Overall we love the design of the house, if they get things in order it could be a very valuable company."

  • "I bought a townhome from Onxy+East last year. They have a nice but small staff. I've had many little issues due to hastily done work and cheap product (despite almost $20,000 in upgrades). Also, Onxy + East built the row of townhomes behind ours much too closely. We have to maneuver to pull in and out of our garages due to the tight space, especially on trash day. It's living in a fish bowl -- you can see everything you're neighbors are doing and vice versa. Last heads up: When Onxy+East sent my purchase agreement, I found out then that they had decided to increase the HOA. It wasn't a huge jump, but it adds up to several more hundred dollars/year and felt like bait-and-switch."

  • "Up and coming area. Love it."

  • "We purchased our home a little more than a year ago. As part of our purchase agreement, Onyx and East finished the basement. The process was very frustrating. We had to stay on top of them about the work and they had to redo multiple things because the work was so bad. Additionally, the quality throughout the house was not up to the standard you would expect for a home of this price point. For example, the craftsmanship is horrible. Additionally, we have had so many issues with the kitchen cabinets. We are missing shelves from a number of cabinets and when we asked about it, they said that it is how they are made. However our neighbors who have the same cabinets have shelving where we don’t. The hood attached to the cabinets started to cause the bottom of the cabinet to pull apart. Lastly, we still have outstanding work from our 1 year walk through and have reached out multiple times. Here we are months later and now they have went quiet not responding to my emails. I would not recommend Onyx and East and highly recommend anyone to look at another builder."

  • "My family and I visited 2 of the homes Onyx & East built during the Indy Rama and were very impressed with the design, function and finish. We were also appreciative of the friendly and knowledgeable staff who were able to answer all of our questions."

  • "These homes look great. I love the sun deck in the homes at 16th and Central. It’s good to see so much progress downtown."
