"We had extensive hail damage to our roof and siding in May 2022 so my husband and I met with at least four contractors to see who we wanted to go with. We found Frank and his company New Town from the local "Five Star Rated" pamphlet that the county sends out every year, which gives a brief overview of the company accreditations, years in the business, and specialty. Frank, the owner himself, came out to talk with my husband and I. He was quick to set up an appointment, took in what damage was done, and listened to what we wanted to have done while providing expert advise. He didn't brag that he does "hundreds of houses," something that makes us think that the jobs are done quickly with little care for quality; rather he talked about how he focuses on jobs to ensure our needs are met. He was the only one of the four contractors who hauled out his own ladder and looked at our roof, something that impressed my husband and I; it made us feel like he was double checking what the insurance adjustor had decided and knew how to play the game. Frank has someone on his staff who used to be an insurance adjuster so that person knows how to best approach and mediate between insurance, New Town, and us as the clients without creating undue stress for us. Frank was willing to meet with us at the local supply company so we could best look at samples and create a 3D model of what our house would look like in terms of color, style, and brands. We had plenty of time to make decisions on our own prior to meeting him, which made the meetings more efficient. After our decisions were made, the demolition and renovation started within two weeks. We had up to date near-daily contact from Frank as when materials would arrive, when a certain project would start, and what would work for us. We felt like we were respected and partners in this project, knowing what was going on and when. If there was a question or a problem, Frank himself would problem solve or he would have Steve, his partner, handle it. We never had to wait longer than a day or two to have something fixed - oftentimes a problem in the morning would be solved later the same day. The crews cleaned up after themselves but Frank or Steve would also come and help tidy things up. The roof was done within a day; the siding took a little longer but the crew was done within a week. My neighbors were impressed how fast the work was done and the quality of the work. After siding was done, we had several walk throughs with Steve to ensure nothing was missed or out of place. Everything was completed beyond our satisfaction. Billing was super easy, as well; New Town uses Quickbooks and payment can be made online, as well as seeing the full detailed invoice. The business is super streamlined and made us feel confident that we made the correct choice. We would highly recommend New Town and Frank and would use their services again in a heartbeat."
