"I had storm damage to my roof and needed to find a contractor to replace it. I had two other contractors do inspections but could tell immediately that they were sales people and were just telling me what I wanted to hear, so I was hesitant to go with them. My neighbor had Maus Construction replace his roof and the crew did an amazing and thorough job. It took them 2 full days and they didn't take any shortcuts. I talked with the owner, Dan Maus, and could immediately tell he knew what he was doing and wasn't there just to make a quick buck like the storm chasers do. He actually cares about the workmanship and only uses quality materials and does the job right. Even though every house in the neighborhood had their roofs replaced due to hail damage from that storm, my insurance company was pretty hard to deal with and they didn't want to cover the claim. The storm damage was legitimate so Dan met with the insurance adjuster three separate times and eventually got them to cover it. The roof was replaced about 3 weeks after we signed the contract. It took 2 days and the crew did a really good job. Either Dan or his business partner were on the job throughout the installation and they keep me informed the entire time. After construction was complete they finished the paperwork with the insurance company so the entire process was very easy. I am really glad we went with Maus Construction and wouldn't hesitate to go with them again. I also appreciate the follow up after they finished the job. The attached picture is with the new roof, but I had a different contractor install the solar."
