  • "We had issues with him from the very beginning. I was given a quote, we agreed on the price and signed a contract. After sending him several pictures on numerous occasions of the leaks continuing to be a problem, he gave me two options. He said that I could buy all of the wood to create a steeper pitch, or he could continue to add layers until the leaks stopped. I was not going to spend more money than I already had. He canceled my 3 year contract after only 11 months claiming that I was disrespectful. All I did was ask him to do what he was paid to do. He then texted some insults, canceled my contract and told me not to contact him anymore. Expensive lesson learned for me, wish I would have read the names on his other reviews more carefully"

  • "I got several estimates and I looked at many places for reviews and I picked this company because they gave me what I thought was a good estimate and had great reviews. I was very wrong! DO NOT PICK THIS COMPANY FOR YOUR ROOF! First I got a $6200 estimate for a new roof replacement. They tore off the roof and told me that I needed new decking. This was true, but how did they not know that the wood below was bad? Was this a first estimate for this company? Someone with any roofing knowledge would know this because I knew this because I walked on that roof weeks before and I am not a roofer! Then I was told that I had a flat roof at two spots on that roof and that I had to not use shingles in those spots. I was told this before from my other estimates so this was not a big surprise. My surprise was that I was told that I needed five rolls for these spots. Trust me, I did not need five rolls because one roll can cover over 32 feet in length and they did not place it correctly because it had spots where it looked like they started a new roll halfway through the section where they should have started a new roll at the edge of the roof. It looks ugly and water has collected and pooled in the area of the roof where I had leaks before with shingles! Then I was told that rolled roofing doesn’t have the same warranty as shingles and that I get a roof sealer to make it last like 30 years as the shingles. So I had to do that which of course costs more money! I had to get new boards for under the metal flashing because they had to do it. I was told that they would paint the wood before they would put it up on my house. That did not happen. And they didn’t really paint the wood when it was nailed until I told them that they needed to do that. I guess dry rot doesn’t ever happen in El Paso? And when they did paint it they made a mess and had more paint on my concrete floor than on the wood. I was later told that what did I want, they are roofers and not painters! I was surprised when Chis said that because that is just rude thing to say! But, to me that is your job to do and have some pride in your work! Maybe I am wrong! Then at least 2 boards were cracked after they put it up and I was asked what I wanted to get done! Really? I had to tell them to replace those boards because they are cracked when you guys nailed them. Other people gave high regards for this company cleaning up after themselves. This did not happen at all. I had to pick up water bottles, nails, roof trash, and other items everyday. Please, do not get this company to replace your roof! A job that I was given a $6200 price tag turned out to be over $10,500. I did get a better shingle type that cost $1,000 more, but still that was way off!!! I wish I could show you pictures and you could see their work because this is not a 5 star company at all!!"

  • "When I first met Chris I was sold just on his courtesy and professionalism. He sat with meet and explained in full detail of what was going to be done to my roof. His employees were just as courteous and knowledgeable. The end result met my expectations and I was completely impressed with their workmanship. I would highly recommend Lone Star homes Roofing Systems. The best part was the price 30% cheaper than three other quotes I was given from different companies. This company is well deserved their 5 star rating!!"

  • "Recently hired Lone Star Homes Roofing Systems. Couldn’t be happier with the service. Chris Najera is professional, trustworthy, and has great communication. He showed up when he said he would and always called when he was on his way. Highly recommended, will definitely hire him again. The work was great and at a fair price."
