  • "We chose to do business with Legacy because they are local to our town and we had used them previously for our HVAC needs and had a great experience. Even though they were the highest bid (by far) for our roof job we went with them because we heard good things. The roofing went fine and looks great. We had some issues with our newly installed skylights and were told to contact the manufacturer to fix. We waited for months to have our gutters put on, only to have Legacy to ask for double what they initially quoted and the had the installers show up with headlamps on after hours to do the work. They mistakenly and without asking cut into the trim on our 125 year old Victorian house and have not been out to repair it. The gutters leak on every end and on one part of the house, they left out a gutter entirely. The owner promised to have someone come out and fix it, that was last November. It’s May. Mistakes happen, that’s a part of life. How we handle those mistakes shows our character. Legacy is great as long as there are no hiccups along the way. Otherwise, you’re on your own."

We called and left a message and Matt promptly retuned the call and schedule a time to come out. He was able to quickly diagnose the problem and order the part. That day we were up and running. Thank you for your professionalism and quick service!"

  • "THIS PLACE IS AMAZING. Thank you! I am a new homeowner, and woke up one morning to a furnace that would not turn on. I called 6 other places for same-day service and no one was available. I called Legacy, and they had a service tech at my house in about 2 hours. The tech knew exactly what the issue was, and went back to get the parts. About 2 hours later, he returned and fixed it all. They also let me hold my payment for a month, until I could pay for the parts and service. I will always recommend to this HVAC place. Thanks again everyone at Legacy!"

  • "Emergency Furnace Repair!!! Called Legacy Heating and Cooling this morning....as my furnace pilot light was not igniting. Matt said he could fit me in before his first appointment of the day. He arrived at my doorstep fifteen minutes later and had the furnace running in no time. This is my second interaction with Matt (first was for AC) and both times he has delivered beyond expectations. Exceptional customer service and extremely professional."

When one of the guys came out to look at the job, he said he would get back to me the following Mon with the written quote and would be back out on Wed to perform the work. Ghosted on both occasions. Work needed to be completed by that Friday. Never called or showed."

  • "I had some ducting that was in need of repair/replacing. After wolfersheating.com dropped and left me with out AC I called Justin at Legacy Heating and Cooling. He was able to get a technician out that day and got me an estimate that evening. Justin was detailed in answering all my questions I had regarding the work needed nor was he was pushy in our conversation. I was very pleased Justin was able to get his crew out the next day. They were quick and came prepared with need materials and tools. The work went smoothly and quickly. Overall, the workmanship is amazing and the summer oven days are now nonexistent inside my home. I will recommending Legacy to my friends and family. My apologies that I do not remember the names of the two that came out, but they were great and deserve to be recognized."

  • "This review is about a furnace repair by Legacy. PERFECT service start to finish! Left service request on the website late last night, with model# details. Justin called first thing this morning to schedule, I got an appointment this afternoon (the delay was due to my work schedule, not theirs). Matt pulled up in a sharp, clean work van right on time. He popped on shoe covers to come through the house and went right to work. Less than an hour later he had found and replaced a faulty hot-surface ignitor (he had brought the correct part with him). $119 flat rate service call plus the cost of the part was a fair price. I was able to pay immediately with credit card, very convenient. Matt was friendly, energetic, and professional even though this was the last call of the day on a Friday. I will definitely use this company again. Very pleased to know they are right here in Forest Grove. Thanks Matt and Justin!"
