"We had a roof installed this summer with lansard, after reading reviews we believed that they would be a good reputable company to have work done to our home. Unfortunately the job didn’t go as smoothly as we had anticipated, no fault to us but on the part of communication and project management on the company’s part . The worst was the damage that was done to our soffit. The roofers must have run into a problem as they found spray foam in the backside of the roof between the soffit and the shingles. Instead of making us aware that they couldn’t replace the shingles without the soffit removed. They damaged the soffit to an extent that it could not be repaired to original. After my husband communicated the damage to the company, a worker came out and stated he couldn’t fix it, it would have to be the guys that work on soffits to come down. We waited and no one came or called us. We then emailed again and received an unprofessional response from Lynnette. Stating that we had previously damaged the soffit and it wasn’t their workers that did it. The options given was pay for them to replace what was damaged or they’ll try and straighten it out. Soffits don’t just straighten back to original so that wasn’t an option we’d be ok with. Especially when the damage was done by them. We’re now having to get another company to come in and do the work as lansard has let us down and proven that will not honour their work. Even after multiple attempts to have them make it right. Truly disappointing, and unprofessional. We’re being hopeful that upper management will see these reviews and step in to correct the mistake as the customer service and warranty manager is not willing to, and we don’t believe that she has forwarded the problem to them. It’s a shame that a company is willing to have such a negative impact on the community for maybe $50 worth of work."
