  • "STAY AWAY FROM KUUBIX! UPDATE: 5 months(!) since my installation and my solar has still not been turned on due to Kuubix's continued negligence and ineptitude. I cannot stress enough how much better your life will be if you avoid this service provider. SEEK SOLAR ELSEWHERE! Dealing with Kuubix has been a terrible experience. Three months after my solar panel installation, my solar power has not yet been activated. There was a back-and-forth with the city inspector because the plans Kuubix submitted were no good. Then when the inspection time finally arrived, the city inspector came but no Kuubix representative showed up to walk them through the diagrams and finish the remaining work to connect the panels. This has to be rescheduled, which itself is this overwhelmingly long process. Also, some joker reached out for payment claiming 80% was due upon installation. I should not have paid. Upon looking at the contract, there is no such stipulation. They are money-grubbing liars. On top of it all, these idiots left a bunch of hardware in the lawn that damaged my lawn mower, and they didn't even paint the conduit from the panels to the breaker box like they promised. I have filed a complaint with the CA Contractors State License Board. I recommend you find another solar vendor. There are plenty to choose from."

  • "If I can give a negative star review I would... This entire process has been going on since Oct 2021, my panels were installed in December 2021 and it has yet been operatable despite the various trip their technicians have made. They have installed the wrong system and they have yet to make the proper corrections. They lack the proper communication and customer service that is required to run a professional business. Their response to everything is that we are working on it but yet have provided a solution. I am currently being charged monthly from the financial institution that financed my panels for something that I am unable to use at this time. I would never recommend this company to anyone I know that is looking to install solar panels in their homes! I will be seeking legal advice as to how to proceed with this matter."

  • "Approximately two years ago Kuubix installed solar on the roof of my home. On Christmas Day 2021 during a rain storm, water was found leaking through my ceiling into my kitchen. Upon examining the attic I could see multiple areas where water was running through my roof from poorly plugged penetration holes and leaks around lag screws that partially missed the roof trusses placed by the Kuubix installers. The water has been running in my attic for sometime after the install and has damaged the wood of my roof and and roof shingles. I called Kuubix and they sent a technician out to do some patching when the rain had stopped. Since that day which is now going on three months I have had no contact made by the Kuubix company on my behalf. No investigation as to whether there was damage to my ceiling which there was and to the damage of my roof shingles and future damage from continued leakage. My neighbor asked about my solar system and wanted to know if I could recommend the company that put the solar on my roof to which I could not. recommend Their lack of client communication on behalf of my roof damage caused by their installers is unprofessional, unethical and a breach of contract . I do not like having to leave a review of this type but there were other local solar installers that I chose not to use because I heard of high ratings associated with Kuubix which has turned out to not be the case. As a Dentist, if I treated my patients with such disregard I would be sued and out of a career."

  • "Scheduled twice an appointment at my home. The first time nobody showed up. Call them on the same day, and I was told they would have called me back with more information, but nobody re-contacted me that day. I wanted to give another chance, as sometime things just don't work out well for a day, so I re-scheduled an appointment on a weekday. I received confirmation via email. They said they would send their "best contractor". Well, I left office and rescheduled important meeting to be at home, and again nobody showed up. Simply forget this company, they are not serious and can't understand how they can still be in business."

  • "Panels were installed in December and I still have not been hooked up. We feel like this company abandoned us as the loan company they work with said they didn't care if Panels are working, we are responsible for loan payments once the Panels are placed on our roof. I have been pushing this company to finish the job and I have also asked for a manager which they will not provide nor will they give me a the corporate office.. They installed the Panels quickly so they get their money and then leave you hanging out to dry. VIRGIL was our sales agent."

  • "This company is a joke. They don’t care about their customers and they definitely do not care about their employees. They treat them horribly and try to keep them with “benefits” that they offer. Those benefits are trash. I’m embarrassed that I worked for them as long as I did. It’s an awful company. It is corrupt and ran by people who have no idea how to do their job. They don’t care about anyone except for the money. I would stay so far away from this place- do not work for them. It’s a joke. I had many conversations with management that were degrading and awful to sit through. The company will defend management before the employee themselves. Management has favorites and aren’t scared to show it. It’s ridiculous. They try to keep people because they are the “highest paying” job up in Rexburg, but let’s be real here. There are better jobs and they don’t even service Idaho- which shows that the only reason there’s a call center in Rexburg, is for cheap labor. I stuck it out for a long time here- but enough was enough. Horrible company. They simply don’t care about people that they SHOULD be caring about. What kind of company is that? Take a look at these reviews- the only reason it has a high rating is because employees review because they were asked to by management. The few client ones that are positive are because of a sales rep who doesn’t even work for the company, or a SINGLE person who fixed a situation."

  • "Our Agent, Jon Hartman was great to work with. He kept the project moving forward and was responsive to our questions. He also responded quickly to any concerns we had during this process. I highly recommend Jon and the company for your Solor needs."

  • "Zach was very professional, friendly, and explained the product in detail and responsive to our questions. He made arrangement to handle the paperwork for our HOA which is a huge plus! The installers were great as well. They were also professional, there was very little disruption. I work from home and hardly heard any noise. Everyone on this team sales, back office, installers went above a beyond to make sure I was happy with the results."

    - T.V.

  • "I just want to say that working with Jon Hartman at Kuubix Solar has been an awesome experience. From the first encounter he was very pleasant to work with. He has been helpful in getting our solar project up and running. If you are looking to go with solar I recommend Kuubix."

  • "I requested an initial call on the weekend, they called me the next day while I was at work. I asked to speak to the person who would actually come out and give the quote because I have a specific request thay so far only a few solar companies can do and it’s a waste of everyone’s time to have someone come out if they cannot do the work. I never got to speak to the person. Set up the meeting anyway, was contacted later and told after that no one would be in the area afterall and could I do a zoom? Sure I said, they send me a reminder txt saying it’s for the next day, which it wasn’t. They then send an apology acknowledging it’s supposed to be in two days. They will send me a link 30 min before. I never get an email, phone call, or txt. Send them a txt stating that. They don’t respond till the next day because they have vacations going on. If it’s this hard for them to get things right BEFORE they get your money can you imagine how they’d respond if something went wrong and you needed their help after they got paid?"

  • "Initially I was excited to have epic energy step in to troubleshoot my energy deficiency after my initial installation company went belly up. I was not having production problems per say, just no backup plan for my installation in case something went terribly wrong. Epic Energy stepped in and added 13 additional panels at a substantial cost. At that time, my energy company owed me for producing more energy than I used. Inside of three months after installation of 13 additional panels, my excess turned into a deficit, and I was now paying my energy company, with no change in consumption. I called Epic and after numerous calls, out of the blue, someone showed up claiming they represented Epic. I explained that my consumption had not changed for a family of one, but I was now suddenly incurring energy charges. I was told that to expect this change until the new panels had time to adjust, and would eventually stabilize. My last 3 energy bills are incrementally increasing. I have sought out an independent source to assess my systems ( two independent solar systems). Without my knowledge or permission. The panel cleaners made me aware of that there’s more than 48 panels on my roof. I’m elderly and 100% disabled, and would like someone to review my current accounting..!!"

  • "I am still trying to deal with my install....so this will be part 1. I wish I had actually read the reviews here, I just glanced and saw the stars, but NOW after reading them....no wonder its so good. Its mostly employees saying nice things and giving 5 stars.....I won't get into this until I actually see what they plan to do to help me. I promise I will keep you guys posted, because as of now I am highly unsatisfied with what they have done...."

  • "I had a Zoom appointment at noon today to receive my consultation and get a quote on a system install. Nobody ever followed up and when I tried to get a hold of them they apologized and asked if we could reschedule for another date and time. What a horrible first impression!!! My gut is telling me that this is not going to be a good fit???"

  • "Thank you Gilbert for doing such a great job on our house ."

    - L.B.

  • "Gilbert with Kuubix came out to install the bird netting around my solar panels. My house was measured, I received a quote and had all my questions answered. The next day I signed the quote and then two days later had the installation complete. Super fast and great customer service. Overall a great experience!!"

  • "This is an amazing company! I admire the people I have come in contact with here at Kuubix Energy because not only are they professional and hardworking, but they are kind down to earth people. Kuubix is also a very honest company, if they happen to make a mistake, they always do their best to fix it, and learn from it. Not only that but they genuinely try everyday to give every customer a good quality experience. 100% recommend Kuubix Energy!"

    - S.S.

  • "Great, professional work to repair our roof. Super nice to work with. Thanks Glen and the rest of the Kuubix team!"

    - G.S.

  • "This is such a wonderful company! They put their customers first and do what they can to make sure the customer is happy and that the job they do is quality. The employees are all so kind and care more about saving their customers money than earning a profit. It's very refreshing amongst a lot of companies trying to trick you out of your money. If you're looking to get solar, definitely choose Kuubix!!"
