  • "If I could do no stars, I would. STAY AWAY from this company. In July of 2021 we contacted this company to do siding, replace 2 upstairs windows and a small patch job inside. Deposit was given. Didn't hear ANYTHING from them until I called in October. They gave excuses. (I understand with covid and all) but still, keep your customers informed. They finally came out and measured for windows. I specifically asked (requested) if work would be done before Thanksgiving. "Yes ma'am ". No more contact until I had to call again in December and ask for our deposit back. I had enough. I filed a complaint with the BBB. I then received a call from Joe telling me that he is sorry, he wont be there in 2 weeks and try to buy us off with a gift card for dinner and asked me to remove my complaint with BBB. Finally, a guy shows up and installs the windows, but did not finish the trim work. THEN, they show up and start work outside. The front looks good, per my husband. The side and the back of the house are a complete disaster. The did not complete the job. Joe texts us and asks for the balance. (This was on December 31). He was told about the issues and promised to have them completed or corrected. Husband met with Steve, went over the issues. We received yet another text from Joe saying Steve will be there Friday to complete and requesting final balance payment. Who pays for work when it's not done? I won't even talk about the mess they left in the yard. (Trash, nails, wood etc) they were supposed to be there yesterday, Jan 14th. No one showed up. I had to text Joe, yet again, at 11:40 am for some communication. Yet, another excuse. Truck issues and Steve will be there in afternoon and Saturday morning to finish up. NO ONE SHOWED UP AND STILL NO COMMUNICATION. Very very poor customer service. I wish I had read reviews prior to signing. They boast about having the lowest/oldest MHIC number. That's nothing to brag about if you don't have quality work and good customer service. VERY VERY DISSATISFIED CUSTOMER SERVICE. UPDATE: Jan 24, 2022. They showed up at the house, unannounced, once again, today to correct their mess. At this point, I am DONE. I have contacted the MHIC licensing board to file a complaint as well as the OIG to file a consumer complaint. I have NO PROBLEM paying the balance IF the work that was listed in the contract was completed as written. Today, the salesman Joe, actually had the audacity to ask my husband if I would take down my post on social media and with the BBB. I only hope my reviews get read nobody else has to go thru or deal with what we have been dealing with. First it was an attempt to buy us off with a gift card to dinner now, he wants me to retract my reviews?"

Ira assisted with the insurance claim and his price was great compared with the quotes I received from other companies. Our interaction from start to the completion of the job was great.   • "This two week bathroom remodel was a 6 1/2 week nightmare that won’t stop. The initial paint wasn’t what I requested. I had to bring it to their attention to get them to repaint it with the correct brand & color. The grouting and caulking job was poorly done & have had them come out several times to correct it. The initial order of supplies for the job wasn’t placed at all. The job was to start in May & in June I had to bug them about when they were going to start my job. The communication between the office & the employees on the site was severely lacking. They put a hole in an adjacent wall when removing the old tub and didn’t realize it. We had to point it out to them to get them to fix it.The job hasn’t been complete for a full week & the caulking is peeling where the tub meets my tile. I wish that I could give the zero stars!"

  • "I wanted to share my wonderful experience I had with Green Solutions Remodeling. I needed my bathroom remodeled to become handicap accessible for myself. They came out, showed me a wonderful design with my safety in mind and at an affordable price. The installer Tim did an amazing job. He came the same time everyday, my wood floors and steps were protected all the way to the bathroom. He cleaned up everyday when he left. I was kept informed of the process. I was given the most beautiful handicap accessible bathroom I could have ever ask for. The white tiles all the way to the ceiling are elegant, the shower is extremely large. They had safety in mind for me, from the shower base, the pull down shower head and the grab bars being placed exactly where I need them. Easy open beautiful shower door. Their work is perfection! You guys have made this 83 year old lady able to remain safely in the home that she loves! I Thank Tim and Green Solutions Remodeling from the bottom of my heart.I will be using your services again and have already recommended you to my family and friends."

  • "Takes so long and poor customer services!! Wish I had read these reviews before signing the contract. Looks like several other people have had similar experiences. Read on for details of our saga: We hired Green Solutions and paid 3x what other contractors were asking because they said that they would get the work done within 5-6 weeks. Well, it's week 9, and the work has still not even been started. The materials were just ordered on January 30th, even though we were told they were ordered on Dec. 15th. When I called requesting some money back, I was met with a bunch of excuses (valid ones, but excuses nonetheless) instead of caring customer service. We received zero contact from anyone at Green Solutions about the delay in a starting date. I had to call/ text multiple times and the response was always "we'll be starting in the next week or two." Today, they guaranteed me they would finish tomorrow, but they said by the end of the week last week, and then they said by Monday on Friday, so who knows. In the process of trying to get some money back and/or going to the Maryland Home Improvement Commission. BTW, I paid $7,000 for this sub-par service when others quoted me $2,500. Go with the cheaper option next time...they'll finish in the same amount of time and they will also be a hassle to work with, but you'll only have paid 1/3 of the price."

  • "We had a screened enclosure installed by Morris remodeling in 2012. Found out that Green Solutions retained some of their crews when Morris retired. We had our screened enclosure converted into a year around room. The work took a little longer than expected but it came out real nice. I tried to leave a new review, but I can only update this one. We had a tree limb come through our roof, Green Solutions was able to patch up the hole quickly and get a crew out to replace the section of roof. Having the work done 2 days after Christmas was great."
