  • "Gossing was the general contractor for the addition to our timber framed home in 2019. Our project required working closely with the timber framer as well as standard construction portion of the addition. We were very happy with all aspects of Gossings work. I can not say enough good things about the quality of workmanship and attention to detail from Gossing's crew. Chris has an amazing eye for details , he caught several measurement errors by the architect and had the issue addressed before anything was installed. Chris built a drybar and window seats in place on our porch, they are gorgeous! He is a true craftsman. Charlie was our project manger and creative problem solver. He had great ideas, creative solutions and was here every day during the construction. We know all of Goosings crew on a first name basis, they were very respectful of being in someones home. Our contract was cost plus and they were right on the money with their estimates. We plan to hire them again for our bathroom renovation."

  • "We had Gossing build out home and I must say it was a fantastic process. They communicated from the start to the finish. They came up with great ideas as this was our first custom home and changed the plans to fit our needs. The biggest thing I can say was they looked after all the details which was really helpful since we were living in Massachusetts. We would come into town periodically with a check list to review and Gossing already had all the items on our list and was working on them. Their response was phenomenal. They were super pleasant to work with always getting back to us when we had concerns or we wanted to make changes to the design. The quality of the build speaks for itself; everyone who sees it is very impressed - from family, friends to even the Direct TV folks. I would highly recommend them if you are looking for a quality custom home."

  • "Gossing did a room addition with a master suite and kitchen remodel. They and they're entire crew are professional and trustworthy. I've had experiences with other companies and Gossing, by far, was the best. If I ever build a home it will be with them."

  • "We choose Gossing because we were promised if anything fails they would fix or repalce the item and were very involved in the building process. This was during a house tour we were shown they were building. Our custom home years later still has issues. The vent pipe installed incorrectly finally blew out this year when we hit record lows. This picture is my family room wall not a roof leak, an improperly installed vent pipe. This will cot alot because the pipe is in an are not easily accessible.Their plumber did not use correct pipe or plumbing practices in many areas, although it got past code. We had to replace the celing in our dining room because the shower drain above had a drip leak and it caved in, our formal dining room. We discovered the plumber did not use plumber's glue/ sealant on the joints. Every year it is something. My husband asked our concrete steps have a footer before being poured becuase of the weight. They began sinking and pulling away from the house the first year. I have a 4 " gap on my back stoop & a carpender came up with framing the gap to cover it up. Again Gossing refused to repace steps & install properly. We asked for marine varnish on window sills and got sand & seal. I had to have all my windows redone. During construction it was a nightmare. Holes cut in my brand new floor from a ladder the protective cap was missing so the metal cut into 2 of my 4 bath floors with Linoleum. Gossing refused to replace or repair any damage. I had to hire another builder to finish the punch list after the final walk through. When they hung the bath mirror they drilled into a sewer vent pipe and my 1/2 bath smelled like sewage the first year until we cut out the drywall to find the error. We used another builder to fix and do our basement with no issues. Our trim is custom & beautiful however the men who did the job, did so at a loss and Gossing never paid them for their entire labor. Gossing will promise you quality and refuse to deliver. One worker drilled holes in my custom stairs for a railing we were not using according to plans. One of their finished carpenters saved the day with matching wood patch, but it was a patch. None of the projects had supervision of the sub-contractors. The roofers were drunk and throwing beer cans into the foundation and ran over our trees. Someone on the crew cut throught the rubber walls and it was determined the entire foundation drain was plugged up with construction debris. It cost Gossing thousands to remove our foundation plantings and repair the damage before we finished the basement. Rubber Walls were not happy Gossing tired to blame it on them and made Gossing pay for the warrenty repairs ($38,000.00). This is just a few items. I could go on & show documentation for everything. In summary no supervision on short cuts, damage, sub-contractors and refusal to finish punch list on final walk through, or be responsible for the final product. Choose another builder with integrity and pride in the final product who stands behind their work like R & H. Oh the funniest thing is my closet rod was glued with liquid nails and then screwed into the dry wall on NO studs. LOL. So a few months down the road I went to put a few things on the bottom rod and it came off the wall, Gossing said, "my clothes were to heavy." Ripped 2 holes in my dry wall. Today 9/29/18 the molding on our attic came off when a workman was installing a fan. He was shocked (Serenity Carpentry) because it was installed with 2 short carpentry nails it requires a stud nail & trim nails, it had none. He had to nail it in correctly. Ruined my dry wall in the closet and he said the workmanship was shameful."
