Customer Reviews

"Fania Roofing did an excellent job replacing my parents roof! They were prompt, reliable, professional and kept a clean work site. We would highly recommend them!!"
"Posted on behalf of Frank Sullivan, Cronheim Management Services My name is Frank Sullivan. I work for Cronheim Management Services. We are the property manager for the property at 33-35 Main Street in Madison. Our company has been in the real estate business since 1897. I personally have been with Cronheim for almost 25 years. I must take exception and refute the review written recently by Wendy Rice. They are one of three tenants in the property that this roof replacement work was done. The other two tenants in this building were very complimentary and pleased with the work done by Fania Roofing. We do a number of roofing projects every single year. By their very nature, roofing projects create noise and vibration issues. It can be an imposition on the tenants but is necessary for the proper upkeep of a building. All of our dealings with Fania Roofing have been positive. They are knowledgeable in all aspects of their trade and their workers have always been responsible and polite. If there is any blame to be cast on this particular roofing project, it lies with me, the Property Manager. While the other two larger tenants in this building have suspended hung ceilings below the roof deck, the space occupied by Ms. Rice had an old tin ceiling that went all the way up to the roof deck. I did not notify Fania about the different field conditions that existed in this space. When they opened up the roof over this space they found unexpected conditions. They immediately began clean-up and restoration work. We will continue to use Fania roofing for upcoming roofing projects as those projects require. I feel badly that Ms. Rice was inconvenienced during this project. I ask her to understand that these types of projects inherently come with some noise and vibration issues. The issue with specific field conditions at this location were not a roofing contractor issue. It was my responsibility as the property manager to advise the contractor about the different field conditions present above their space."
"On 11/1/21 Fania worked on the roof of the building where I work in an office. They opened up the ceiling above my head -- above my computer/keyboard/printer/phone/chair (brand new) and files. When I walked into the office my chair was covered in roof soot and bits of hay or grass and the sky was open above me. All of this was just the start of their smug attitude, their noise and lack of even the most base-line courtesy or professionalism. The week following their time here, the office smelled so badly of tar and/or glue that we had to keep the front door open even in the cold weather AND hire a cleaning service to try to get the smell out. Unfortunately for me, they were here again yesterday, 11/16/21, with no advance notice to anyone -- their generator running from early morning till at least 3pm right outside the back door, the guys drilling, hammering, shoveling and shouting and dropping stuff above me all day. I called the Fanila office in Dover to find out how long they would be working and I was put on hold, told they would call me back with that information and: I never heard back from anyone. I wonder if they're capable of respect for their customers and those around their customers? It seems unlikely that they respect anything other than making a buck, and after they make it: I wouldn't hold my breath that they back up their work with much more than the garbage attitude I got from them."
