"We used their service to get a new roof for $15,000 a year ago and within 6 months, tiles were blown off to the deck and ground, this morning another 5-6 ft long of tiles fell to the ground. Poor quality glue o and workmanship, and worse poor-zero customer service. We kept calling the company, they kept telling us they would send someone to fix our roof, after months, no one has come to do the work. Is that how customers are treated after company had received full payment? This situation of our poor roof work and irresponsible customer service are concerning and distressing. Now we are worried about rain leaking into our home causing more damages and stress. We treated all workers well with care and respect when they came to do the work. Salesman Jojo presented as very nice and helpful when we were closing the deal; we reached out to him, my husband spoke to him, no results. My husband spoke to staff members from Epic Sacramento, they kept saying someone would be coming, no one has come. We feel compelled to speak about the truth of this poor work and customer service. We want our roof fixed. We would recommend them to others if they had done a good job, or are at least responsible. This lack of responsibility is NOT acceptable. We have never encountered any company with this extent of lack of accountability. We are still trying to reach out to Jojo and the company. We left a text to Jojo, and a voice mail to Epic Energy this morning, awaiting responses. I will update my review and rating if the issue is resolved with the company. Till that happens and if ever will, very disappointing and distressing so far after spending 15k. We do not recommend using Epic Energy Sacramento. I’m sure there are more responsible and ethical roof companies out there."

"We been trying to get a hold of them after they set everything up and no luck. We never got an invoice. We spent $42,000 on this set up. We didn't even have somebody explain how the solar works. I've been trying to have somebody come out and troubleshoot my internet that's hooked up to my generac system. We are supposed to be able to monitor our system. It's been half a year and no answer. I've left email messages,been on their website to leave a message. Nothing!!! The only paper trail I got is the credit union statement that I pay every month. Seems like they got their money and ran."

"Costed everything out and materials were $8,000 max (if paying retail prices). Epic gets wholesale pricing and gets it for much less. They gave me an estimate today for $43,000. WHAT!?!?!?!? The epitome of greed. $35,000 for labor?? Who in the right mind would allow themselves to get gouged like that. Has to be criminal. You staple shingles to osb with galvanized nails. Not paying you 43k for that. Stop taking advantage of people with this crazy prices."

"From start to finish everyone was great. Chris was great to work with and explained everything very well, was upfront and honest. The installation crews where amazing, on time and very nice guys. With the storm coming in they stayed long hours and even worked on SATURDAY to make sure my home ready for the massive storm. AJ the project manager kept me up to date with the schedule and was always available when I had questions. 10/10 would recommend anyone to work with them!"

It would not be cost effective for me to use solar because I use so little electric energy. This kind of integrity is hard to find in a hard sell world."

Pretty sure anyone with equity in their home can get that or similar. I don't appreciate misleading mailers. Be upfront about what you are selling."

"Jeri, Jo Jo and the staff were great to deal with and the program seems good but the overall experience I am not happy with. Had windows replaced, AC system replaced and roof done. I was only happy with the window installation, those guys were in and out with no issues. AC system seemed over priced (installers were good) compared to other quotes I received and the roof work...I didn't enjoy the water inside my home due to open exposure from no covers when it rained (not the only house that day) along with the damage to concrete walkway from lift. Very disappointed in the solution...just repaint the water stains on ceiling. The painter seems like a great guy though, I may hire him for more work. Apparently water soaked drywall and insulation is no big deal. I intend on trying to hire a separate contractor to survey the damage, I dont want these guys back. This is April...and my first payment installment is in November! Nice, let's make a payment AND do repairs!"
