About Us
Desi's Roofing West was founded by owner Oscar Desrochers in 1975. Oscar, himself, started roofing in 1957. Richard Desrochers, Oscar's eldest son, joined the family business at the age of 18, meaning he now has 35 years of experience with flat roofs, cedar shakes and a lot of shingles. He worked for 10 years at the Burlington location as a sales manager before heading up to the new location, serving the Winona, Stoney Creek, Hamilton, Glanbrook, Binbrook, Mount Hope, Ancaster, Dundas, Flamborough, Carlisle and Waterdown areas. Burlington and Oakville areas are serviced by Oscar Desrochers and his youngest son, Ray, at the Burlington branch.

"My roof was losing shingles in very high winds. I knew that shingles were original builder's grade an decided it was time to get this done, before it could get worse and be a costly fix. I was referred by my in-laws about Desi's and after reading reviews, I found Desi's Roofing West right here in Binbrook! I contacted them and set up appointment. Richard came out and did a full inspection, going up on the roof (on a very hot day) to see firsthand what needed to be done. I was given a very detailed quote with options if I wanted to add more protection. I was very impressed with the honesty and professionalism of Richard. The price was not too bad, either. I was allowed to think about it and price out other options, no pressure from this company. I decided to proceed. The original install date was moved due to weather, but the makeup date was kept and the roofers were on-time exacting at 7 AM. By 12 Noon, they were completely done. I spent a few moments with them and they fully explained what they had done. They fully cleaned up all their work area and were on their way. The roof looks amazing! We had a little but powerful storm this morning and the roof did its job. Much recommended!"
"I had a leak from the roof that was installed by them but they didn’t fulfill the contract as they never responded back to my multiple calls and email inquiry . I knew that they were very expensive comparing to other companies, but I thought it worth it for peace of mind. I was wrong and I am very disappointed . My advice, just go with the cheaper price and do not believe in contract or empty promises."
