  • "At first, I thought they were great, but buyer beware. We have had nothing but constant issues since we’ve moved in. Alan fought us and/or wasn’t responsive on some major things that popped up in the first year. It took us 11 months to get matching white cabinets. We kept getting different shades from bright white to ivory. Alan didn’t intervene until I had to yell about it. Our UPGRADED stamped concrete patio was disastrous after the winter thaw - Alan wouldn’t even come out and look at it. I fought enough and they eventually had it redone. Our storm door shattered out of the blue while we were home - no collision, direct heat or anything. I had to fight to get a replacement insert. A sink came detached while a turkey was thawing, because it didn’t get clipped. Pretty basic miss. Our roof drained down the front of the house. Alan insisted it was fixed properly but we had two separate companies out to look and both said the “acceptable” fix was a joke. Our UPGRADED window trim is bowing as it didn’t get nailed in the middle. Stone has fallen off the front of the house. We now, less than 4 years later, have a mold issue inside the walls of the master shower. We have determined it is leaking from the bottom somewhere - I presume it will be an expensive fix. This is by no means an all inclusive list. I could go on for days - balusters not caulked, trim was stained the wrong color, fire place finish was flawed and they supposedly quit making the product they initially used leaving us with no option to repair, leak in the attic above the garage, and doors were ordered with wrong hinge cutout. We expected to have some issues. We didn’t expect Alan to just ignore some of the major ones until we had to basically threaten. Jamie is the only bright spot of the build process - she’s wonderful to work with."
